Excellent!
I thought this would be cheap garbage for the price but it's heavy duty steel. It worked perfect no clogging of the hose.It does use up a lot of sand and you can't adjust that but I think there is a way to modify it. If less sand comes out I think it will come out even faster.I'm just using sand you get from a rock plant, it's not clean sand but very dirty, but 2 bucks for 5 gallons. As is does the job great but If you can tune it to your pressure washer you can have something like the professionals have.

Not as efficient as I hoped for.
Uses a tremendous amount of media to get the job done.

Better than expected!
For $30, I wasn't expecting much. But after $20 worth of sand and a few bucks of fuel in the pressure washer, I was pleasantly surprised! I am powder coating some aluminum rims, and needed to prepare the surface. This thing works amazingly well for being so simple and cheap. Not only did it give a great surface profile for powder coat, but it's relatively quick and easy. Now most of us spending $30 to do something that a professional outfit would charge hundreds for are probably not using the best sand. My pick was Quickrete all purpose sand. The first bag went ok, only one rock jam up. The second bag, not so well. Luckily I had some coarse-ish mesh screen for my RV screen door so I started filtering the sand halfway through the bag. I was amazed at the number of rocks in it! One other thing I learned is that when a rock jams into the tip, you will then have backflowing water going toward your sand. This is bad. This is where the device loses a star. If it had some sort of check valve on the suction line, you wouldn't have to worry as much about possibly backfeeding water into your sand and making it unusable. I didn't ruin any sand by getting it wet, but I got close. Next up is covering your sand bucket. You do not want any overspray getting in there. I followed another reviewer's suggestion and had my sand bucket on my truck tailgate, and wheels on the driveway. this will help your sand to gravity feed. Another thing that would be great is to use a funneled blast pot for your sand. Toward the end of a bucket I had to keep adjusting the suction tube and shaking the sand. Using something with a taper at the bottom would help with this and eliminate the suction tube if you could just attach the hose to the bottom. I'm not sure if this is as efficient as traditional dry blasting. After finishing two wheels, I had gone through about 130# of sand.In a nutshell, would I spend another $50 to save hundreds? Definitely. But either buy good media or screen your sand first. Get your cars far away too, or anything else that doesn't agree with sand for that matter. Wear crappy clothes. And plan on stripping down as far as you can and hosing down outside afterward.

Great Quality
I use this with a 4,300psi pressure washer with a long wand. I use it for removing paint and rust off metal fencing, vehicles, tools, and various farm implements. It works great, one thing to note is to point the sand hose upwards on the wand end so that the water cannot drip back down into the sand hose. I recently sprayed an entire spiral staircase in less than 4 hours saving days of work with a grinder, my back, and the finish left is much more uniform than I would have gotten with a grinder. For vehicles, you can use outdoor 3m painting tape and angle the water away from the tape to sandblast panels or entire vehicles. The strength of the pressure washer used makes a huge difference in how well it works. The bigger the compressor, the more sand it can pull at a time, and the harder it's going to hit the surface when sprayed. I don't think I would want to bother with this tool if my pressure washer was any smaller. I've owned and used a few of these over the years and this one is better quality than the other brands I've tried. I have yet to have a single nozzle clog. 10/10

fails to suck the abrasive material, and only dispenses water instead.
I purchased this sand blaster device hoping for an efficient tool to help with my projects, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete letdown. The device is not functioning properly; it fails to suck the abrasive material, and only dispenses water instead. The quality of the product is abysmal, feeling cheaply made and unreliable. Save yourself the trouble and avoid purchasing this item. It’s a waste of both money and time.
