Not as effective as cotton, but much greener
While great for the environment, it doesn’t clean ears as well as cotton swabs. It definitely does clean, but know that in making a greener decision you trade the thorough clean of a traditional swab.The makeup swab is not my favorite. Since silicone is not absorbent at all, it does not hold makeup remover well to touch up areas

Decent, But Still Using Cotton Q-Tips
I bought this item in order to help reduce my personal waste. I've always hated the feeling of water or gunk in my ears after the shower so I tend to use Q-Tips almost every other day. This silicone swab is a great size, however, it doesn't absorb anything so that you can clean it to reuse it. While I can pretty much poke wax out with this silicone swab, it doesn't get the water out of my ears after a shower so I'll use a regular Q-Tip after my shower still. It has reduced the amount of Q-Tips I use, although not reduced my need for them entirely.

It's okay
I've really tried, but I'm not a huge fan of using this as a replacement cotton swab. It just seems to smudge things around and not so much remove. I love the idea, but the end result isn't working for me. I'm going to look into other eco friendly options.

These work good, feel good, but snap without much pressure in a week or two, like others out there.

Gentle yet efficient
Unbelievably effective! I was using cotton swabs daily to put on my acne medicine and kept cringing every time it went in the trash. But not anymore! My very strong and super pink medicine went on my face and quickly off the swab with a gentle wash of the reusable swab. Super effective!
