You Choose

My 4 year old LOVES this book! The bright, busy illustrations are engaging and keep him busy for quite some time. He was in speech for just over a year and this book, while a super simple concept, allows us to discuss the illustrations and his thoughts/choices about each page. I love that he can enjoy looking at the pictures and discussing this book with me now, but we will be able to use this book for much more as he gets older (writing ideas, further descriptions etc.) This book is great and I'm so glad that we added it to our library!

I love these books! Perfect to elicit spontaneous langauge and conversation with all ages.

This is my 4 year old's favorite book. It doesn't have a lot of words but is an endlessly versatile read with all the pictures. You can take as long as you want to reading this book. They can choose 1 thing in each category or list everything they see and want. My kid loves being able to pick their own story, and feels pretty empowered by all the choice-making this book allows. It has become a staple bed time book every night.

Six yr old loves these books and can read them over and over and never get bored. We keep one in the car at all times and she regularly gets sucked into the possibilities and pretend of it.

Kids love this book (ages 2, 5, and 7). It’s a fun one. I was kind of surprised on the clothing page that they had a boy running off the page naked (he chose to wear nothing at all!) and that there were some women’s underclothes that I would not want my kids to pick to wear. But my kids barely notice them and I decided it wasn’t a huge deal because of the way it is illustrated. And I will say I usually am very picky about the book content. But my kids love to pick different things from the pages and it is a fun, interactive book that way.

This is my favorite gift for kids birthdays, just a good book for ages 1-7 it’s open imagining and I love it.

Love this book and so do my kids! I have purchased it for multiple other families and they have all loved it. It holds my kids attention for a long time, even if they are looking at it independently. Great quiet time book!

This book is amazing. My son has a speech delay and getting him to talk can be tough - this one and just imagine create endless opportunities for discussions. I brought it in to my sons class to read and we had to stop three times for the teacher to tell the kids to move back because they were so engaged. Thank you thank you thank you for making this book!

I was worried my 9-year-old might find the book too childish, but she loved it just as much as my 6-year-old. We've spent countless hours reading it together and laughing at the ridiculous combinations we've come up with. It's been a great way to spark their imaginations.

Utterly fun to try to imagine! Wish there were more Indian options in terms of the options of food and clothes, and otherwise a lovely concept

Beautiful illustrations. My 4 year old loves it. She took it to school to share it with her class and she is very happy. She's been reading it more than once per day and finds different ways of making up games with it.
