The Kotlie with the Dolce Gusto pods made my favorite coffee of all time. I caught myself bragging to people about my coffee and sharing many a “cuppa” with them. The Cappuccino quickly because my overall favorite. I stopped going to coffee shops because none of them could compare. I recently stocked up on the pods because sometimes they are hard to get. The day my pot ceased to work, after having it for only 10 weeks, was a sad day indeed. I have tried to contact the company, I watched YouTube DIY’s but to no avail. I am hoping I can get a response to this review to resolve this issue. I LOVED this coffee.

I love this machine. I especially love the design; it looks different. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because it has two issues that can be annoying at times.First the machine drips after using it (so you have to leave your cup on the tray and wait) or your constantly washing the drip tray.Second I use the Nescafé pods. After making my coffee the pod gets stuck and it’s not so easy to remove and you have to pay attention to the rubber gasket that constantly falls out with the pod. I actually threw it away once because it stay connected to the pod itself and I didn’t notice. So when I made the next cup of coffee it was a disaster. You need that gasket in place to make your coffee.Maybe the manufacturer will upgrade this machine and make it greater in the future.

The media could not be loaded. bought 2 machines for home. one of them is not working anymore. the water level LED and temperature LED keep blinking. cannot control anything.

This is such a beautiful coffee maker and is so simple to use. I love how quickly it makes my coffee. Literally makes it in less than 2 minutes. It has an adjustable stand where the cups or mugs go for the coffee so if you're just making yourself a warm coffee in your mug you can make the stand smaller and if your making yourself a medium sized coffee you can remove it altogether. It's a beautiful sleek design that is ideal for small spaces.

I adore this little espresso machine. I never thought I'd want a single serve easy option but there are just those days when I do not have time to pack that perfect espresso. This baby does it all for me! It's compact and beautiful and works perfect. Love it so much. Highly recommended.

Obviously this is targeted at people who want versatility in their coffee making as it's a five-in-one machine. This has appeal to me as I enjoy different coffees and it often only comes in one type: be that grounds, 43mm pods, K-cups, Nespresso or Gusto pods. It also allows you to take advantage of deals when you find them in any of these formats.I tested this machine using each type except Gusto. It made great hot coffee in all formats, though it takes some trial and error to get the strength right with the different formats.It's not particle physics to heat water and push it through coffee grounds so that much was expected at this price point.After my month of use here's what has stood out:* Though the various inserts are almost commerical quality and I can't see them ever failing the unit itself is very plasticky with the water reservoir being particularly concerning. Drop it on the kitchen floor and it won't survive. The clamp down handle also doesn't look like it would stand up to any abuse.* Once you become familiary with the inserts this won't be a problem but why did they write what each one goes with in tiny, tiny type? I had to get a magnifying glass each time to read it.* Initially you have no idea how much coffee each line setting will make. The max setting (7 lines) makes about 1 cup, with each lower line subtracting 1 ounce. The 1 line setting makes 2 ounces.* I thought the 'Pods' insert was for the Senseo type pods. It's not. You can use Senseo pods using the 'Grounds' insert though.* It looks stylish on the countertop and it and the inserts clean up easily. The one exception is the metal ground coffee cup. I don't wash grounds down the sink so it takes some scraping to get out the wet, compacted coffee.If you want this versatility and all users in your household will treat it gently this can be recommended.If something breaks prematurely I'll update the review.

We have used this with Dolce Gusto style pods, Nespresso style pods and ground coffee and it is simple to use and gives a nice cup of coffee.It looks like a DG machine and that is ok. It fits in well on the worktop.You will need somewhere to keep the various attachments nearby but they are easy to clean and easy to use. The unit seems sturdy to use so far and has not given us any issues. Water is easy to pour in, either direct to the removable tank or via the flip up lid. We have had no leaks.It needs cleaned after 200 cups and instructions are in the manual. There are some drips when removing Nespresso pods but none with DG. Best practice is to rinse the pod holder after use.We have found it works with original and supermarket brand pods with no issues.

Machine arrived quickly. It looks great and makes an excellent coffee (having experimented with different coffee's). I decided on this due to the 19 bar pressure and I liked the idea of the ability to use different pods if I wanted. It is simple to use and takes up very little room. Would recommend.

It took 3 attempts at ordering it before I got one that turned up , with all its parts and working! The first got lost in transit. The second arrived missing half the pod components which is kind of the point of having a 5 in 1 machine! I had to wrangle with customer service to get a swift refund each time as otherwise I'd have had to wait 5 working days each time before I could afford to reorder! Considering none of these errors was down to me I didn't feel this was acceptable. Finally I received my 3rd machine today, with all parts and working. Its a fab little machine shich opens up the scope for buying different brands of pods which is what I wanted, so I can shop around for the most economic pods. At the moment I'm finding nesspresso original capsules are most commonly available and cheapest nut it's kind of future proofing too.It's easy to use, uncomplicated a great small size for those short on space, looks modern and comes in different colour options.

I had been eyeing up this kotlie 5-1 coffee machine for a while. As I have a dolce gusto and I like how easy it is to use. But I made a mistake and now it leaks. So I did my research on the kotlie 5-1 but there wasn’t much out there. So I took the risk and i am so happy I got it. My mug fits well and I can now experiment with other brands of coffee pods. It’s easy to use. A little pricey. Heats well. My only negatives are it doesn’t work with Tassimo pods and I didn’t get the dolce gusto pod holder but after contacting them they have sent one to me as for some reason I got 2 ESE pod holders instead. Also i bought the white one to match my kitchen but it’s not white, it’s cream. But other than that I am happy with my purchase.

I am very happy with my new coffee machine because it's so easy to start using. Changing over the pod drawer is simplicity itself and everything seems well made. The controls are touch sensitive and the machine looks sleek. Even the instruction booklet is easy to follow including how to descale using whatever you normally use unlike my other machine that had to have their own brand descaled which was pricey. It's much quieter than I am used to so I don't feel that I am waking the neighbours when I am up in the witching hours.
