Absolutely obsessed with this product! My hair is shinier, silkier, and incredibly smooth!
The media could not be loaded. I’m really impressed with this product! My hair feels so silky and smooth, and the color looks deeper and more vibrant—like it has more life to it. The packaging is super secure with multiple safety seals, which makes me feel good about the quality. I also love the subtle herbal scent when I open the bottle, and the mild, sweet aftertaste makes taking four capsules a day surprisingly enjoyable. I’m already noticing a difference and can’t wait to see the long-term results!

"epidermal growth factor (EGF), and fibroblast growth factor (FGF)‑7 were increased" -study
I'm reallly skeptical of herbal supplements for most things. I had been pursuing an all-of-the-above approach for hair loss for about a year including caffeine shampoo, occasional topical (not oral) finasteride/rapamycin combo, and I had found I was maintaining or seeing very slight improvement in hair thickness. Ran across the study for "BeauTop" in humans and decided to try it. I must be an outlier because I felt like the improvement was noticeable within 3 weeks. I thought to myself, this really can't be working this well, did some more research, and found this study (abstract I'll post below). In short, this actually seems to lead to noticeable increased thickness for me.Interesting study (in animals):"Minoxidil and finasteride have been approved to treat hair loss by the Food and Drug Administration. However, the further elucidation of treatments for hair loss, including those using Chinese herbal medicine, remains important clinically. BeauTop (BT) is a health food supplement which contains Ginseng radix, Astragali radix, Radix Angelicae sinensis, Ligustri fructus, Rehmannia glutinosa and Eclipta prostrata (Linn). Susbsequent to oral administration of BT at 0.6 g/kg/day to wax/rosin‑induced alopecia in C57BL/6 mice, BT significantly induced hair growth at day 8 compared with control treatment (P<0.05). The expression levels of epidermal growth factor (EGF), and fibroblast growth factor (FGF)‑7 were increased compared with control animals on day 8. In contrast, levels of FGF‑5 of the BT group were reduced compared with the control on day 12. There were no effects on the expression of insulin‑like growth factor 1. The results demonstrated that the mechanism of BT improving alopecia is potentially associated with modulation of EGF and FGF‑7 levels. Taken together, it is suggested that BT may have a potential effect of the promotion of hair growth."(from "Hair growth is promoted by BeauTop via expression of EGF and FGF‑7")edit: my hair situation was already improving but it seems like my hair is now a lot fluffier, a lot less brittle, the hair that is growing gets longer without breaking.I ran into an old acquaintance at a club, 20 years younger, and she was like "YOU HAVE HAIR!"... which kind of freaked me out because I didn't really realize I had an obvious issue when I knew her 5 years before lol

This stuff works, but it takes time
A few events in my life lead to much greater hair loss; I suffered a tbi a few years ago when a hammer hit my head. I also suffered extreme insomnia due to zinc deficiency. I am almost completely bald in the middle of my head, definitely a bit premature considering my age, etc.Well this stuff has worked out well for me. There are a few problems though I wanted to mention:1)This stuff is way expensive, but I get it covered by my FSA that I have at work.2)You have to take this stuff pretty much every day for it to work. If you take a few weeks break or more, your hair will fall out, etc.3)It takes a long time for results...and for me it took about 2-3 months to notice a change.4)You need to make other lifestyle changes for maximum results including eating vegetables and good diet.

Made me sick
I took these for four days and was feeling increasingly queasy as the days went on. I checked the contents of the product and wasn't familiar with the herbal ingredients on the label. Once I stopped using it, I felt fine and can only assume it didn't agree with me. I wish I'd done a better investigative job before purchasing.

Struggling with progressive hair loss
Primal Hair...i'm hoping to finally find a cure or treatment to the hair loss that has plagued me. The bottle looks and feels legitimate; I have come across some hair supplements that are so poorly packaged and are riddled with typos. Primal Hair comes with 120 pills which equates to 4 pills per day that can be taken with or without food. I have no quarrels with the taste of the pills, so they're easily ingested and leave no aftertaste, nor do i burp up any residual flavors like I would with fish oil pills. I have been taking the product for almost a month, and have noticed lessened hair loss towards the back of my head, which is a good start. According to the product review, I should start seeing some increased hair growth by the 2-3 bottle, so i have a bit of a ways to go. The price is slightly steep, however, as the saying goes "you get what you pay for," so I don't mind spending a little extra, especially for vanity. Additionally, i have been having a bit of a boost of energy throughout my day, which i'd attribute to the product. Anyhow, overall pleased with the product so far and will be ordering my 2nd bottle soon to keep up the progress!
