DelfaShoe stretcher, fitting device for women and men shoes, various sizes with stretch buttons

I suffer fairly major deformity with my right foot as well as both feet being very wide.My major problem was that I suffer compression on my little toe on the right foot with almost all shoes (mine are also modified orthotically for height correction), the problem is exacerbated by the extreme width of the foot as well.This shoe stretcher combined with some stretching solution (I use Collonil STRETCH Powerful Stretch Spray) sorted out my problem perfectly.The moveable plastic 'plugs' allow you to position the expanding action exactly where you need it however I did find after a few uses the plugs tended to moved as you insert the stretcher into the shoe. I have over come that by simply sticking a strip of sellotape over them to hold them in position.Don't go overboard with screwing the adjustment control as I tried the unit on one pair of old shoes, took it a bit too far and ripped the side of the shoe from the sole.Overall I am impressed at how well they work and would recommend them.

I can't recommend this enough. I have one very wide foot due to bunion and arthritis in my toe and it is extremely difficult to get footwear that is comfortable and fits well. One foot needs a 6 or 6.5 and the other a 7. I have thrown out so many pairs of shoes and boots but now I have this I'm able to keep my footwear and just stretch one of the pair to fit my wide foot. It's great. It works in leather, canvas, suede and I've used it in ankle boots and shoes. I was rather sceptical at first but I'm so glad I got this. Money well spent!

It's hard to take to platic in and out of the wood holes, but think this will loosen up. Think they should be sold in pairs. But otherwise does what it says it will do. Perfectly happy with the products results.

This shoe stretcher deserves all it's positive reviews. It works perfectly. I took a pair of shoes to the local shoe repairer to have the width stretched and ended up taking them back two more times and still the fit was uncomfortably tight. I even thought of throwing my shoes away and then in desperation I bought this stretcher. I followed instructions and stretched each shoe for 24 hours in turn and that was the problem solved. My shoes are usually a little wider than 'D' fit and this stretcher did the job. It's recommended that you moisten the leather before stretching and as I had some shoe expander spray already I used that to moisten the inside of the shoe, but you can use water. The stretcher is well made and robust with a metal screw and extra fittings so that you can tailor the stretch to your individual needs. It came well boxed and packed. It is an investment I definitely don't regret making.

Really pleased - top quality sturdy product, worth the extra money. Read other reviews first and wanted to get a pair (cheaper) but liked the idea of the 'knobs' that can target problem areas. I am size 4.5 to 5 and this size is perfect. I have wide feet anyway, but get great pain in my little toe joint which has started to kick out much like a bunion. I love walking & have a new pair of leather MBT trainers. The three knobs (which are different shapes/sizes depending on your need, and which can be positioned to target the exact spot you need additional play) are a brilliant feature.... (whoever invented this idea knows about joint problems!), as general overall stretching is not what I need (though can still be achieved). A great investment. And simply take it in turns with each shoe if you need to stretch them both. Also purchased the Colonil spray as recommended by another customer.

It does fit perfectly into the standard Timberland boots I bought it for and very sturdy too, it does the job. But it came without the plastic buttons hence the 3 star. Tried to find a contact for the company that sells it but didn't have any luck, so I guess there's the customer service :D But it really does the job even without those buttons.

Whilst this stretcher only addresses width stretching it is so superior to the other softwood stretchers offered here on Amazon currently as to be in a different League! I ordered the size specific to my shoe size and what I got was exactly that. The previous purchase of the softwood type, in which I specified LARGE, did not even reach the sides of my normal fit size 9 - 43EU shoes fully extended, let alone stretch them! The build quality here is as excellent and obvious as the poor build quality in the Softwood versions. The only issue here is that this is a single stretcher. NOT a problem if you aren't in a hurry but if you want to stretch a pair quickly you'll need to order two.
