This stick horse was the perfect gift for my 1 1/2 year old grand daughter, she loves it. I don't think she ever thought about riding a horse until she got this but now she is just like a pro. The horse sounds made when she presses the ear make it even more fun for her. 2 AA batteries are required so make sure you have some around before you give the horse. Made with a sturdy wooden pole and smooth wheels you are guaranteed to have a fun and safe experience. The leather reins give it the feel of a real horse and at 38 inches it is great for a child of 2 or 3 years old. It comes with a handle that can be installed also. Great gift idea for any young child you may know.

I think my daughters are going to love this horse toy. It’s built well, a good size, and seems to be good quality. The horse sounds are good and pretty loud. My only issue is there were no instructions. Most of it was pretty straightforward but putting the handles in the sides was quite difficult. I couldn’t find or feel the whole it was supposed to screw in. Thankfully, after a while, my husband was able to get them in. Overall, this is a great toy for a horse loving child.

Child loves this. Pony looks great as far as aesthetics! Small handles that screw in to the side of the head were a tiny bit difficult to figure out as it seemed like the fur covered the holes and i really had to force the wood handles in and screw them in blindly hoping not to strip the threads. They ended up screwing in without stripping but are at slightly skewed angle which isn't really noticeable and probably not a big deal to most considering what the item is and is going to be used for.

So putting this Stick Horse together is unnecessarily difficult. It comes with “markings” on where to install handles but they are way off target. It took me about half an hour to put it together with some breaks in between because it was so frustrating.Otherwise it is built well and I appreciate the wooden material.The sounds are also fairly loud and last a while before the button on the ear needs to be pushed again.The battery pack takes 2 AA batteries and is very difficult to take out as well.Make sure once the batteries are installed you’re pushing the ear button rather than the one that states “battery pack” because they look almost the same.I hope you find my review helpful.

This hobby horse has been a huge hit with my little one! It's the perfect size for them to hold onto and gallop around the house. Compared to others this is priced fairly as it's made of good quality and the horse looks great! The reason I took one star off is because the handle screw does not align properly to where you think the hole is. The hole is there you just have to dig. Instructions are not included but are posted and it's pretty simple to put together. My 3 yrs old enjoyed riding it.

My kids loved this! The horse is so soft. And it is just the right length of stick for my 2 yr old and 4 yr old to play on.I didn't know it made sounds until it arrived which is way cool!
