This product has trace minerals, potassium, and silica for plant nutrients. Despite its name, the texture is not coarse and gritty like sand it is more like a fine green powder.

I can't really review the product, as I don't fully understand how it's used or why hermit crabs need it, but I purchased it because I have adopted a hermit crab and they need this stuff. I am giving it 5 stars because the price was relatively good and the bag arrived with no tears, punctures, or sand coming out anywhere.

My new climbing rose leaves turned light lime green. What I researched recommended greensand for long term correction. The leaves looked normal within a month and growth got vigorous. Need to grab a mask prior to using, otherwise very easy to use.

This greensand is one of the best deals you can find for this garden amendment. Greensand is getting hard to find, so I was very happy to find this item. I use it for all of my garden plots, especially root crop vegetables. I notice increased vigor and growth with this amendment.

Haven’t had it long enough to test the amendments long term impact on soil quality but, the HDP bag was undamaged after getting what looked like a WWE showdown by USPS. The bag quality is unlike other amendment bags (higher quality), it’s unfortunate to have to use thick virgin plastic but it’s highly repurpose-able and tough pond liner like plastic. Great for potato grow bags or something like that. Buying elsewhere comes to about $60-65 per 50lb so $48+tax isn’t bad for 44lb shipped.

I used this for sweet potatoes the slips took off like 2 days later bam leaves perking up, in a week wow also added rock phosphate I think by next week they will be crawling out of the 30 gal container can't wait to see how they look in a couple months

As others have said, this is a very fine dust particle. I considered the price, including the shipping and it seemed like a good deal regardless. I would’ve given it Four stars and possibly five if it had been just a little more granulated.Don’t let the particle size discourage you from this. Simply use water when applying it to the ground and till or rake it in. You could even make a sludge and apply it that way.I live in an area where you can’t find green sand at a local garden center.Due to the price and ease of purchase through Amazon, I would buy this again next growing season.
