Gemondo0.75ct Black Onyx, Mother of Pearl & Marcasite 925 Sterling Silver Art Deco 45cm Necklace

In all honesty, when it comes to this product, I am in two minds. Why? Well, while the overall design is absolutely stunning (and the marcasite and onyx features are beautiful), the mother of pearl central piece is slightly... well, off. The logical, sensible part of my brain tells me that it is absolutely normal for the mother of pearl material to have irregularities (when you see the inner part of a shell, the light reflecting of all those little lines is what makes it look so charming), but my fussy "inner perfectionist" tells me that this particular pendant sports one such line in a rather unfortunate place - I cannot get over the feeling that the position of this line makes the pendant look chipped (when it reflects the light in a certain way, anyway).If the line went through a different place, I guess I would think this pendant is perfect. Seeing it doesn't, however, it will probably take some time to let this pendant grow on me...
