Ball-jointed Doll Ai - Engilsh ivy

When I first saw this one she wasn't on the top of my list to get but finally did. She is so much cuter in person than the pictures and her dress is a beautiful print and cut. The turnoff was her hair color [yeah I know the English and their Lords wigs]Not sure why they made so many with white to gray hair but I am planning on dying her wig and will add to a friends jun blog on the results with pictures. OKAY, was just on pullip blog and want all to know: I'm going to be using some synthetic wig dye a beautician friend of mine is sending out from Calif so it is not run of the mill dye. Never try to dye a wig you desperately adore without trying dye product on something else out of the same fiber to see results. If this works [whenever she sends me the color sets I asked her for] will post on the Pullip blog for all to see. I don't want to see anyone ruin their doll wig on my account!

This doll looks exactly like the pictures. The eyes are a little tricky to set, but with a little experimenting and a bit of the included putty, you can get them positioned how you want. Especially if that happens to be slightly cross eyed. I've just decided that Ai must be a cross eyed character. She feels quite heavy for her size, and the painting and clothes are just wonderful. Posing takes a little patience but I find it easier than with my Pullip Elizabeth. The packaging is lovely, and you could just display this doll in her storybook box. I'm leaving the coat off of mine, though it's very cute, because the bulky seams do interfere with her arms' posability. I've included a couple pictures showing the velcro under the wig, and the eyeball attachment. I will definitely buy more Ai dolls. At only 5 inches tall they don't take up much space and you could get a whole lot of them onto one shelf!

I love this little dolly. She's 1/12th scale and just the right size for my doll house. She's the first of many of these dolls. Now to try to find clothing, that's a problem! You have to really look hard but there are some people who make clothes on etsy just for these dolls.

I got this doll for my grandma who collects doll and she loves it a lot. In fact, the box is too gorgeous for her she does not wanna open it. Lol! The doll looks amazing and I think the detail is awesome especially the price coz I only got it for $19.

They may not be resin but they're awesome! These dolls come with a cute little outfit and accessories, and they pose pretty good too.

The doll is perfect but I'm really disappointed at the price, I had it for $65.99 and one week after it has drop at 50.43.......
