We want to delight you with our finds, and these pashminas have been our best sellers now for years. The reason for their quality is that only the highly-prized 'downy' soft pashmina fleece is used. This comes from the chest and underbelly of one type of goat - the Capra-Hircus - which only thrives at very high altitudes on the Mongolian Plateau in Nepal and Tibet. The goats rely on this extremely fine, but very warm underlayer to keep them warm in sub-zero temperatures. Owning one of these pure cashmere shawls is a real treat - they get softer and softer with wear, and you will find any excuse to have it with you at all times. This is the real thing and once you have it on, you won't want to take it off!
