Love my Luna! Refreshing sleep but BEWARE!
They say eat in moderation, drink alcohol in moderation, etc. If everything was overdone/over used, we would all be unhealthy. Obese, constipated, puking, etc. This is no different. I love this blanket. Amazing. I am a 5'8" 180lb man. I sleep on back about first 1/3 of night, then flip on stomach. You can read my Luna experience toward the bottom of this.Luna and every other weighted blanket (wb) company has lied to you. Using a wb every night is unhealthy. Some sort of discomfort WILL develop from constant use; back pain, constipation, restless legs, etc. WBs were created for deep pressure touch, occasional use only, and a maximum of 30min.In early 2021, I used a Bare Home 15lb full size wb unaware of the real uses (previous paragraph) for it. I noticed I had a small issue with constipation. I was eating less during the summer, even though I worked hard washing cars and mowing a little. I always ate more during summer. Well i thought i needed to cut out some dairy and bread. After that, I still had some minor constipation. I had not yet figured out what caused it. Then I bought my white Luna 25lb queen size wb. At some point i noticed I was only able to comfortably eat 3 or 4 bites for lunch. At dinner i could not handle a complete meal, more like half. These eating habits did not include snacks, thats how full i felt. This shoes that the constipation had become worse. I got a job about 1-3 weeks after my Luna purchase. I delivered meals for a non-profit called Feed the Need, hours 945am-130pm. Instead of eating a egg and cheese biscuit in the morn, I started drinking milk, V8, or orange juice with MiraLax. My sparse lunch and non-existent snacks continued. 1 1/2 months ago, I had just gotten into bed under the Luna. Laying there thinking suddenly a light bulb lit up. Not kidding, it suddenly struck me that the weighted blanket could be the issue. I got out of bed, put Luna wb on closet shelf and fluffy hotel goose down/feather comforter on bed.In a matter of 3 days, after continuing MiraLax, my eating habits were back to normal. I was able to resume my normal consumption of milk. Been feeling great since i quit the every night wb.I still love my Luna! It is very soft and cooling. One in a while when i feel super exhausted and need a nap, I get that 25lb on the couch and then wake up cool and refreshed in 10-30min!

Instead of piling on quilt after quilt...
... just get a weighted blanket. I don't think I'm in the group of people who most benefit from the weight of weighted blankets as they are intended. I believe that because I haven't noticed that I fall asleep faster, toss and turn less, or stay asleep longer. But, I have noticed that instead of having 5 layers of quilts, comforters, and blankets on my bed I now have just a sheet, this weighted blanket, and a throw on top. And it's the middle of winter! Thus I have been able to pare down unneeded blankets and declutter my winter stash. Less laundry, less shuffling quilts about as I remake the bed each morning, and someone at the local homeless shelter got three really nice blankets right when they need them most. The blanket is fairly well made, with even weight distribution. It didn't take very long for me to get used to it and despite its weight, it doesn't stop me from tossing and turning. It does, however, OOF! me into the floor each time I try to throw it around while cleaning or to move it to the couch. I don't have a cover for it, mostly because Amazon doesn't have any sellers who can manufacture covers beyond boring shades of navy, white, beige, and prison stripes. Unless they have toy sailboats on them, of course. So classy! I have some brocade lying around somewhere so I might just make one. I haven't washed it yet, as it's just being sandwiched between other materials right now and has nary a chance to get dirty, but when I do I imagine it might be a chore. Certainly, I'm not sticking this thing in my ancient washing machine. For once the machine probably won't come out the victor. Unlike when I put my bathroom rug in it and got back something resembling Cookie Monster's long lost cousin, Wayland.Anywho, if you think a weighted blanket would help you with a sensory thing you (or someone) has then this is a good one. If you just want to declutter your 15 winter blankets down to 2-3 and still keep that nice weight of 5+ blankets, then this is for you. If you want something to OOF! your pet/spouse/child/guard goose into the floor so you can laugh while they bug out in distress, then this is for you. (No cats were harmed in the writing of this review.)

Good quality
This is a good quality blanket. I went by their guide in order to know what pound blanket to buy. The 20lb is way to heavy. I probably would go with a 12lb blanket for myself.

Great 5-lb weighted blanket but...
We already owned two of these 5-lb weighted blankets and I just bought a third. They are high quality, and I love everything about them EXCEPT they don't appear to sell duvets for the 5-lb size anymore, although they sell them for bigger blankets. Anyone with small children knows that their blankets need washed MORE often than older kids and adults because they are messy. And do things like drag blankets everywhere. A weighted blanket will wear out faster than other blankets with washing even if you only use the gentle cycle. I really, really wish they sold duvets for these so that I could prolong the life of the blanket itself. Two of the three I've purchased don't even have the loops for use with a duvet, so even if I could find duvets in this exact size from another brand, there's no way to secure the blanket inside. For these reasons, four stars.

Beautiful blanket and covers
I bought this weighted blanket and cover set as a Christmas gift for my husband. It was delivered in good condition in the time promised. The blanket was beautiful as was the colour. The covers were of a soft nice material. My husband however did not like it and I returned it and received a full refund.

The Sherpa lining makes this
Well made and not too heavy. The Sherpa lining makes it especially cosy and comforting unlike the other plain ones I have.

6.8lbs {Double} Cool - Good Quality
Short version:Good weight, Good Quality Material (100% Cotton) and Stitching, Very Fine Glass Beads Mixed with Wadding resulting in less Pooling unlike other blankets, Bonus plastic Cover Case, Comfortable, Cool but easily layerable.Long Version:Really pleased with my purchase upon opening.. good quality plastic cover case for packing away. I am pleased that so far the beads do not seem to be pooling as much as I have known them to in other blankets. However, there is still some pooling of beads. At 6.8lb it’s not too noticeable unlike heavier blankets. Also, the beads are so small and smooth with added poly wadding, means I can quite happily use this alone on warmer nights without missing my duvet. The choice of smaller glass beads and wadding is a great idea, it just has a more balanced weighted feel. I have only received the blanket today and cannot fault the quality of stitching, very pleased to feel the cooling touch of the cotton outer cover. 100% Cotton is something I was especially looking out for.I look forward to using this new blanket and will update my review upon further use.

Very comfortable to sleep under
This weighted blanket has an excellent quality cotton outer layer, and the weight distribution of the glass beads is very even, no movement or lumping. We have the super king size, 203x220cm, and it fits nicely in a kingsize duvet cover. The blanket falls very supple and is snug, the cotton fabric means that it is not hot or sweaty. It appears that the glass beads take on the body heat, keeping us still comfortably warm during cooler nights, even without an additional duvet, although one can be used underneath for even more snug cosiness. Does it improve sleep? I have always liked heavy blankets and I am absolutely a convert, this is for me the perfect addition to a comfortable sleep.

Great blanket, not so great packaging.
First off, the delivery was early. Bonus! When I opened the box, two things disappointed me. The first was there was no card or sticker stating the size or weight of the actual blanket. So when I unfolded the blanket and placed it on my bed, it seemed small. I mean, my queen sized sheets kinda drape over my mattress. This fit perfectly. I got out the tape measure and yup. As advertised 60x80. It felt 20lbs when I lifted it and slept under it but again, nothing on the label on the actual blanket to verify a weight or size.Second, there was a card but it was a promotion stating a free cover for new luna buyers. Again, Bonus!Disappointed to find out that they are no longer honoring that promotion. Would be a smart move to say it's a limited time offer or first come first served. As to the actual blanket, I'm extremely happy. First thing I noticed is how the weight of the blanket helped with my sore leg muscles.I fell asleep faster. It's only been 2 nights as thus the 4 star sleep quality review.Overall, I would definitely recommend you get this!
