If you actually let the string out be prepared to wind it back up. This this is great.

Fun for the grandkids
The product was easy to handle and enjoyable for my young grandkids (2 and 4 yrs. old) to use with adult guidance.

Extremely irritating
I don't understand why there are so many great reviews and that it lists "great for toddlers" in the description. This came with no instructions, and the line jumps off the reel as soon as you touch the thing. Inside of 10 seconds this becomes a horrible tangled mess. I literally have no idea how this is supposed to work and keep the line on the spool. Two grown, reasonably competent adults could not get this to work.

Kite string reel is real good
Great size, weight and quality. I wanted something that would hold a lot of string, and this reel fits the bill. I have another that is smaller and flimsy. This is a quality piece.I haven’t used it yet, but will update my review if I don’t agree.
