Does the job but…
I like this product to keep my carpets clean. It doesn’t have a plastic smell like some product do, doesn’t move around, and lays nicely flat. However, it’s pretty thin and I honestly feel like you pay a lot for this product that is essentially a piece of plastic. Did I need it and do I use it and does it work? All yeses. But was it worth the money I spent, no.

I like that it does protect the rug but it is not thick enough to stay in place. Would not recommend

Ideal mat for foot traffic
Dimensions were accurate. Flatten out quite nicely in the staircase area. Used on a low pile rug and there is no slippage or bumps (yet) from foot traffic. Wanted a clear plastic over a white rug. Unsure about using this on the stairs since it will require cutting to lay the pieces flat.

Thin, Cheap, and Dangerous
I was very disappointed with this product. I bought it for a family member who recently started using a walker, but it's not safe at all for the elderly or people with disabilities. It is extremely thin, wrinkles, and slides out of place. I was walking on it myself and almost fell when it slid on the carpet. I have no idea how this product is so highly rated.

Great strip.
Very nice runner. It's lighter than my old one which is fine to me. Holds down on my carpet but I do have one side held down with a carpet strip as needed.
