I’ve been taking ZMA (zinc, magnesium and B6) at bed time for years. I saw this product, which provides for separate morning and evening magnesium pills.I haven’t noticed much of an energy boost in the mornings using this product nor have I found much in the way of any difference to my sleep patterns. Ok, as I’ve used ZMA for such a long time, I wasn’t expecting any differences. However, I did wonder if I’d have a bit more energy in the mornings. Nope. Saying that though, I do train first thing and I take a pre-workout before lifting, so I wouldn’t think the addition of a magnesium pill is going to make a lot of difference.In fairness to these pills, they do provide a decent amount of magnesium, which the western diet sorely lacks. Magnesium isn’t the easiest of minerals to obtain from diet alone, so supplementation makes sense.Also, I haven’t had any muscle spasms since using these pills, so I guess they’re probably doing something.In summary, I didn't notice much difference taking these pills but then I’m used to taking magnesium anyway. If you’re already used to taking magnesium, especially regular gym rats who use ZMA, these might not do much for you. However, if you’ve never used magnesium before, they might be the way forward.

After having asked the doctor about these tablets, my husband got the go-ahead to take them. as he suffers from a CSF leak, he really needs more magnesium, so the doctor thought these would be great for him to take.After day two of taking them, he was feeling so poorly, he had to go and see his GP. He was visibly shaking, had tummy ache and diarrhea, blurred vision and felt generally unwell.Needless to say, he won't take these again.

There isn’t too much to be said here but with this pack of day and night magnesium capsules I feel this brand offers great value for money, provides a full months supply and most importantly, delivers on what it says it will on the packaging. You will receive x30 day release and x30 night time capsules meaning you will take 2 capsules per day. I have been taking magnesium supplements for quite some time now and found this particular brand to be on a par with other similar manufacturers offered at around the same price point. I can’t say I noticed much difference over my regular tablets for the day time supplement however, I did find that the night time tablet provided me with an even better and more consistent sleeping experience compared to my usual brand. I would generally wake less than usual and I have to put that down to these specific tablets as I haven’t changed anything else within my daily routine. Would I recommend these? Absolutely! There is nothing to dislike here at all and I have no complaints.

I took the first tablet early in the day - the yellow one and when I first took it within a few minutes I noticed I was feeling improvement in energy and more light.I haven’t noticed a lot in particular in evening as I wind down and become sleepy anyway usually unless stressed. My sleep is normally good anyway but last night for example after an hour of taking them I knew I must go to bed because I was too tired to carry on what I was doing whereas sometimes I might carry on on adrenaline but this wasn’t there this time. I realised I haven’t taken them every night but have every morning when I take all of my supplements because the amount of nighttime ones is about 4 more remaining than daytime ones.It says 60 capsules and it is 60 in total, 30 daytime ones and 30 night time. It says made in turkey to gmp standards so I know some people in UK prefer UK made as they’re made to UK regulations but as they’re certified to gap standards I feel ok taking them.I feel they’re expensive for 30 days supply and mainly just magnesium and a few other things that aren’t expensive to take as supplements. It’s good they have both types of magnesium in and you easily organise to take the right colour at the right time of day. I have noticed an improvement but I don’t think the price needs to be higher than average for those reasons.
