im not really the biggest fan of event comics but Annihilation has been on my to read list since i read the Marvel Platinum tie in trade to the first Guardians of The Galaxy movie and really enjoyed finally reading these stories, save the Nova series which i already ownThe Annihilation events are know for three things happening simultaneous to Civil War but much better executed, revamping and bringing interest back to Marvel's cosmic characters and eventually the formation of the first iteration of the modern Guardians line upI recommend if you want to see a Marvel universe space opera

One things for sure these days is when you order a graphic novel directly off Amazon it's a nap it will arrive damaged....zero quality control.

Melhor arco Galáctico da MARVEL

Con este volumen damos inicio a una serie de cómics de la saga cósmica que no pueden faltar si eres fan de marvel. Una historia que inicia aquí con anihillation, continúa en anihillation conquest y termina como los 3 ómnibus de war of kings, en definitiva algo que debe estar en la colección de cualquier lector de cómics. Cabe mencionar que este volumen no incluye la historia principal que lleva el nombre del volumen ya que esta se encuentra en el vol. 2 y lo que nos muestra son todas las historias que motivan a los involucrados en el evento a participar y como llegaron al lugar que los vemos en el siguiente tomo. Definitivamente un comic que debes leer.

Annihilation does a fantastic job of creating a unique, varied universe with each page's art showing off how vast this universe is. I am very excited to pick up Vol. 2 in the near future. The Drax story line is really solid, although I would say it doesn't have a ton of bearing on the rest of the story. But it's a good setup for how he becomes involved in later issues. Nova is just great here. Granted, I'm a huge Nova fan so I may be biased, but I think his issues are the best of the story. Silver Surfer also has an exciting character arc that makes for a great read. I initially wrote off the Super-Skrull portion of this book due to the artwork being a little too cartoony for my taste, but the story itself is quite good, albeit convoluted toward the end. I highly recommend this for any fan of Marvel, and especially fans of Nova and Silver Surfer. The only advice I would offer is to pick up Vol. 2 from another website. There are very few on Amazon and the independent sellers are charging a ridiculous amount considering other sites are charging about 25-35 USD.
