Shea Moisture Baobab & Tea Tree Oils Low Porosity Protein-Free Shampoo 13 fl OZ.

I used this on my daughters hair today and it is AMAZING! Seriously awesome!!! She is biracial with long curly frizzy hair (hair 3/4 down her back! A lot to keep up with!) I first purchased the high porosity line at target because I thought that was the type of hair she has. It worked ok but as I was braiding her hair the bottom was getting tangled and i had to keep trying to comb it out as I was braiding. This is typical for her hair and I thought that it was the best her hair could be. Her ends felt pretty dry too. So I decided to buy this line just to try even though I was pretty sure she had high porosity hair. I was wrong! Her hair reacted so differently to this product. SILKY SMOOTH not a single knot. The entire time I braided I just used my fingers to detangle. The leave in conditioner is the best I’ve ever used! I know why it’s sold out at target! I have used every natural product and some not so natural ones on her hair but nothing worked like this. I wish I found it years ago.

Each of these have a strong smell, but it doesn’t smell bad and it eventually fades. The leave in conditioner has a very thick consistency and I wouldn’t recommend using more than a dime size amount on a section of hair. It isn’t a lightweight product. I really like the shampoo and conditioner. Normally my hair feels dry and brittle when shampooing and extremely breakable when I rinse, but this shampoo leaves my hair feeling moistured and clean. The feeling of using the conditioner on freshly shampooed hair is like eating a mint and breathing in air through the mouth. It has a cold tingly feeling. It feels really nice though.

This is a great product, my wife damaged her hair from over the counter hair coloring products. Her hair got thin, was dry and was falling out. This product did an amazing job of starting the hair repair process. It leaves hair soft, smells good and the hair feels much thicker and looks amazingly better. I am endorsing this product at her request to help any one else who has tried to color their own hair that resulted in hair loss and damage.

I'm caucasian and have thick, wavy hair. In addition, it is very damaged from over-processing/bleach! Though I've cut off alot of it , there are still some damaged areas. I'd read about porosity and decided mine was low porosity and really needed moisture...not just heavy conditioners weighing it down and not doing much otherwise. I just finished shampooing, and using both conditioners (rinse-out and leave-in.) My hair feels surprisingly soft and silky, not at all heavy or greasy from too much regular conditioner. To me, the scent is sweet and spicy and pleasant. I don't feel it has a strong tea tree smell at all. It does linger somewhat but to me, isn't overwhelming. If your hair needs moisture, I'd recommend this bundle. If my hair was less damaged, I'd probably give it 5 stars but for those without severely damaged hair, it should work great!

Ooomgggg!! My toddlers “4C” type of hair is the softest it’s EVER been with this set! Her hair felt so dry and dehydrated for so long and I’ve tried it ALL! Did some research and realized she has Low Porosity hair, and BAM! Gave her a bath last night and even the shampoo set angled and softened her hair! Literally wanna cry cause I’ve always felt so hopeless. This will def be the only thing I use - it works THAT good!!!

I have curly hair that tends to get frizzy if I use no product and flat if I use other products (from the oils and product buildup). I recently learned that can be a sign of low porosity (most products giving you bulidup and flattening your hair) an this product has been a game changer. This makes my curls light and bouncy and I get zero product buildup when I use it. My hair does not feel as soft to the touch as it does when I use silicone based products but I think it's worth it for the way it looks. When I want my curls to be extra defined, I combine this leave in conditioner with LA Looks gel (the blue one).

First off, I have very low porosity hair, that is prone to build up, and being weighed down by heavier products with coconut oil. My hair hates coconut oil, but also thirsts for moisture! The scent of this stuff, is different. I can't say that I love it. BUT, once my hair dries, I don't really smell it.I've been using the leave in conditioner for a week. I refresh my hair in the morning with water, then add a little (maybe dime sized) amount to my hair, scrunching it in. It gives it the moisture it needs, helps smooth frizz, and most importantly doesn't weigh down my hair or give me the limp strands that come with build up! I haven't used the Shampoo yet, as I only wash about once a week, and cowash otherwise. The conditioner is much like the leave in, it gives it the moisture it needs, without leaving the film of oil that heavier conditioners with coconut oil do. I was previously using a coconut oil based conditioner, and even right after washing, after rinsing well, my hair already didn't feel completely clean due to the oil. So this has been a great move for me!So far, I love this stuff!

I payed for 3 products but I got the package today. The plastic wrap was ripped and I only got the shampoo.
