The cosmetic bag I use for travel wasn't long enough for a regular rat tail comb. This one fits in perfectly and works great. I'm a big fan!

I use a rat tail comb every day to split my hair at the part after shampooing. I also like the fine teeth on a rat tail comb, to comb down any flyways after styling. Usually, when I pack my full-size rat tail comb, the tail pokes through or I need a long bag to hold it in. Sometimes the tail will even break off. This compact retractable rat tail comb is a must have for someone like me. The tail portion comes out after pressing the top button that is very similar to pressing down a retractable ballpoint pen. Once the rat tail is pulled down it locks into place, To push it back up, just press the button again and push the tail back up in and it locks into place in the compact position. The comb is overall a good quality. The rat tail is metal as is the button, and the comb portion is a sturdy, solid plastic.

The media could not be loaded.  I like that it is a simple push to extend. You have to push firmly to get it to go back in. Seems pretty sturdy.

This is very convenient for traveling and even to have with you in your bag. The handle pops in and out which is great for on the go to avoid the sharp end being out.

I've got hair that goes down to my thighs. Dealing with it not fun. The hook on the larger comb and the pin tails make managing it so much easier.

I love how handy this is. The button on top dispenses the tail, and also stores it. It is high quality stainless steel and works well at dividing my thick hair. The comb itself is glossy/glittery pink and true to photos. Feels high quality.

I love the retractable "rat tail" on this comb. I carry a rat tail comb in my bag in case I need to braid my daughters' hair on the go. This one will be replacing that comb. Now I don't have to worry about the tail poking through my bag or anything else in the bag!

I like how durable/ sturdy these are. They part hair with ease (even curly kinky hair) and are a good length as well. All in all these are great combs.
