Highly Overrated
i first listened to this guy's music in the movie" Tere Naam" and i actually liked him back then.it had some great tunes and were real simple.but i dont know wat got into his head.his aashiq banaya apne was a breath of fresh air albeit not that great.but now he's gone overboard.all of his songs on this album are painfully similar and i keep confusing them.the very comparison to justin timberlake in the above review proves how lame he is.he is not a sufi singer, abida praveen, hans raj hans, the great wadalis etc. are.he is just a nasally singer who tries to imitate arabic singers.

Himesh- Sufi-singing maestro
For the price they are selling this album for, it's nearly a crime! The 2 CD Set is pure gold!To begin, the minute you put this CD into your player, Himesh's powerful voice will blow away any faint recollection of pop-stars such as Justin Timberlake and (cough)Clay Aiken into the ever forgetfull oblivion. Able to portray the loudest feeling of love and the saddest yearning of pain, Himesh's voice will guide you through the exotic backdrops of Love; it howls and sings out to the stars, and at the same time collects itself in the most soulful sessions. The music and composition on this album is also done quite well; the first CD is comprised of danceable Bollywood style songs, while the second disk has more accoustic and personal stylings of the songs as well as alternate remixes that are even more intense. However, even though the music thumps away, Himesh is the clear star; someone this good doesn't deserve to be ignored. (I must admit knowing Hindi/Urdu helps a lot, but if you don't the music will take you away anywho!)-Pratik
