My daughter bought this case for her grandma. She has a couple of big pieces of jewelry and this case works great to house her pieces when traveling. To even make it more specials she hand painted her grandmas favorite on the top of the case.

Like the shape, size, and compartments. Wish the color were more subtle.

For $17, I was pretty disappointed in the quality control. It may be hard to see but the leatherette is loose on the cover. The batting they put underneath that top cover is cut too short and doesn't go all the way to the edges which is why you will see the outline of the undersized batting they used. Also they did not pull the leatherette tight on the cover and so it looks wrinkly and feels cheap. In addition, the hooks in the inside are inconsistent. Some are rounded, some are squared off and it feels light.In comparison, I bought 2 from another company on Amazon named V-Lafuy - at $9.99 each (one burgundy and one blue) and the cases are a MUCH HIGHER QUALITY than this Smileshe one. The boxes are heavier giving it a more premium feel, the leatherette is perfect all the way around, The batting is cut and sewn appropriately, there is a mirror in the middle cover and it just feels so much more lush and expensive, even though it's lower in price than the Smileshe one. You can buy 2 of the V-Lafuy for the price of 1 Smileshe travel jewelry case.I will be returning this one and it could be that I just received a factory defect. However I am much happier with my other ones from V-Lafuy and will be keeping those.

I love the size and compartments but it arrived with a very bumpy top. The PU leather looked wrinkled like it had been out in the sun all day. Had to return but wish it worked out because of the nice travel size.
