We are currently using some grey/silver tones on a dark wood table, and thought this grey salt and pepper shaker combo would be a good fit. The bottoms have that little silicon plug that provides a snug fit so far, and is easy to remove when need be. Filling them up was no problem, and they pour with ease. My pepper has large grains, so it can take a bit more effort to pour, but this should be fine with the smaller grained pepper varieties.I had to Google which one was for pepper and which was for salt. Allegedly, in the US the one with less holes goes to salt, and the one with more holes goes to pepper. In Europe, this is apparently reversed. I just called my wife and had her make the decision. In the end, I recommend you go with your heart on this one.All told, I really like this salt and pepper shaker combo. The ceramic is nice and heavy, and they hold a good amount in them. They fit well with our table aesthetics too. I would recommend!

I don't know why it's so difficult to find nice salt and pepper shakers that are just normal, manual shakers but these are some nice ones!I got the grey ceramic ones and they really look and work nicely. I do put raw popcorn inside my salt shaker to keep the humidity from clunking up my salt (especially when I use the pink Himalayan salt). That works far better than rice and doesn't get stuck in the holes.The holes on these are the perfect size. I am very happy with these.

We really like these simple ceramic salt and pepper shakers. They have a very nice minimalist design that will look great in almost any kitchen or dining room.The holes in the top allow for a generous sprinkling of salt or pepper, but not so much that you’re likely to overdo it. The ceramic finish is very glossy and easy to clean. We ordered the 4-pack, which allows for a pair at each end of a long dining room table, or one pair on the table and another by the stove. We are going camping in a few weeks and plan to take a pair of these with us.These are sturdy and have a classic simple design that will never go out of style.

Got these for my kids to paint as they love ceramics but not quite into constructing and sculpting yet. These worked out great! We just used some acrylic and air dry glaze and they turned out perfect (made sure to cover the holes with painters tape). The bottom plugs for refilling are a little flimsy, and I find these kind to sometimes get pushed into the shakers, but other than that, no complaints, especially given the price.

This set of 4 white ceramic salt and pepper shakers is perfect for casual dining! They are just the right size - I can easily hold both in one hand when moving them from cabinet to table. They're a good weight, and are simple and elegant. They are easy to wash, and the salt flows well from the 3 holes. This seems to be a great price for 2 sets - I only needed one and so I was able to gift the extra set to my daughter!

These salt and pepper shakers are oversized which is a nice surprise. We cook a lot of steaks and use salt and pepper before ever grilling them in addition to having them on the table for meals. It's nice that we don't have to constantly refill these.I do have some that have some sort of design but I actually prefer the minimalist look to these. They look better with our dishes than some that are more kitschy. Getting more salt and pepper in them is easy. It's the same as almost all of the other ones we have - there's a hole on the bottom with a rubber plug that just needs to be pulled out to fill them, then replaced once the salt or pepper is added.
