Varathane 384807 Water Based Wood Stain, Quart, White Oak

The color went on to a cabinet with a great finish job. It was easy to work with and made me look like I was a professional. I used only two rags for a cabinet that I stained in white. The first one to rub off the heavy part and the second one to smooth it out and the cabinet came out fantastic.

This is a good product. Although it seems thin compared to paint it needs a deep stirring to mix. I bought a pint, so for me a minute or two all the way to the bottom. I originally just gave it a few shakes and applied a coat and was disappointed with the color. I was using inexpensive 2x4's and natural colors varied and I thought this is going to take forever. The next time I came out to work it again I stirred properly and all was well. Lay it on and wipe it off. Add more coats as needed.

I love the looks of this product and it covers great! It is a little difficult to spread around and get off excess but if you know how to work with it is great.

This product is easy to use and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I used it indoors due to weather and had no problem with smell. I used it on my coffee table and the durability has been great. (I put my feet up on the coffee table) I will be using this product again!
