Much more reasonable price than the factory kit and works great. I used a 2 foot piece of steel pipe to slide over the crankshaft wrench to make it easier to resist the torque from the torque wrench when reinstalling the pulley.

The stoppers are very unreliable. The main tensioner stopper is like paper and does not fit the tensioner. For comparison, the stopper on the right is of good quality and the one on the left is from the kit. The same goes for the stopper for the oil pump chain tensioner, it is thin. The other parts of the kit are of good quality.

Very good item, get the job done but the cam locks are somewhat not perfect, chain rubs to them when the guides are installed and won’t allows you much play, i solved my problem slightly grinding the back of the locks, also not super perfect locking the cam gears in place since i had to play with them to get the chain perfect on the gear marks everything else it’s very nice.

Everything worked great for the job on my 2012 VW Tiguan EA888!

Crank conterholding tool could be a bit better made. The one slips out easily from 4 holes on the pulley. Other than that - it is a great kit for a good price.
