Better than the Rollo at half the cost-UPDATE
UPDATE AFTER 2 YEARS:Still excellent. Two years of use, more than 10,000 labels, almost no problems (I think it has jammed on me 2 or 3 times). I just works every day after day after day. And the labels are clearer than the Rollo labels ever were. Very pleased with this and if this died today I would buy another one without hesitating."Nice work Label Range! Never heard of you but I'm really glad you put the marketing money into engineering and manufacturing to give me an excellent product. You've got a customer-for-life!"****************************************************Had a Rollo and it gave up after 2 years and probably 20,000 labels. Went to order another and they were backordered so I tried this. Wasn't expecting much for less than a hundred $, but had my fingers crossed. It is superior to the Rollo in every way but one: it is just slightly larger if that matters to you. Most importantly the clarity of the print is VASTLY superior to the Rollo. No matter how I fiddled with the Rollo I could never get it to print the finer fonts and some bar codes as clearly as I wanted. The Rollo was never quite as clear as the Dymo and I tried to tell myself that it really didn't bother me - but it did. For 2 years. This one is PERFECT.To summarize:1. VASTLY superior print quality compared to the Rollo (used the same label stock and test labels)2. seems to be just as fast as the Rollo once you crank up the speed in the settings3. Just a little larger than the Rollo (not an issue for me)4. about half the price of the Rollo5. Setup was flawless and MUCH faster than the Rollo. I plugged it in, installed the driver from from the included USB stick (nice touch. No searching the internet for drivers and downloading), and was printing the clearest labels I'd seen in 2 years all within 10 minutes of opening the boxWill it last as long as the Rollo? I don't know. Maybe I'll get another as a spare and I will be equal on cost and still have better print quality than the Rollo. In the meantime I've got clearer labels and an extra hundred dollars in my pocket.I'm feeling so smart right now. And it's Friday afternoon. What a great way to go into the weekend!

Works great with eBay shipping labels
I use on a Win10 laptop.Bought this to use with eBay. It kept printing sideways and cutting off part of the label. After searching around, finally found the setting on eBayās site that let me select 4x6 labels and itās worked perfectly since. So, if you use this with eBay be sure to select the correct label size on the labels page. You have to click on āmore settingsā. Labelrange.com has the instructions on their troubleshooting page but I didnāt see it because it was near the bottom well below the fix for wrong orientation which I thought would fix my problem but didnāt. The price was great compared to others. Came with a small stack of labels to get you started. Installation was fairly easy. The drivers came on a usb stick as an .exe program. I ran it then connected the printer and the computer didnāt recognize it. Ran it again with the printer connected and turned on and it worked just fine. It couldnāt be easier to use. Feed the labels in, it senses the size and and just works. One small complaint would be when there are no labels in it, it beeps incessantly. Not a big deal, you just turn it off.CONS: Takes a little doing to install, not plug and play but fairly straight forward and rather quick. Should be familiar with how to install a printer in windows. I should say I did not read the instructions till after I had it working.PROS: PRICE, PRICE, PRICE. It was about half the cost of a similar label printer. Simple and easy to use once itās installed. Blank labels load in a snap. Looks good. Very small footprint.Time will tell how hardy it ends up being. Would definitely recommend.

Lacks Polish, But Works Great
Here's the bottom line up top: if you want an affordable, reliable thermal label printer and you don't mind dealing with some setup issues, then the LabelRange BT620 is a great option. Resolution is good for the price, performance is on par with pricier models from bigger brands, and the machine feels well-built and solid. Just don't expect a good software experience. So, what's the problem? The user experience can be a little bit less than ideal during the initial setup. Windows 10 and 11 may not recognize the printer and you'll need to deal with a potentially finicky manual driver installation. The label creator apps (both the phone and desktop version) are also poorly translated with outdated and frustrating UIs. They're arguably usable in a pinch, but I couldn't imagine working with this software day-to-day in a professional environment. All that said, the actual printer is great. I've been using it to print 10-15 shipping labels per day, along with a few hundred smaller stickers per week, and it has been rock solid. The print head will require a quick cleaning every week or so, but that's typical for any thermal printer. The resolution is good enough to print small, graphical product labels at acceptable quality. Bluetooth connectivity also seems reliable, although I primarily leave it plugged into a server computer and treat it as a network printer. The only real downsides to the performance are that it's not particularly fast and it can be pretty noisy. If you're printing hundreds of labels or stickers per day, you might find these issues to be more frustrating than I do. In my case, for relatively light to moderate usage, the small downsides don't do much to detract from an otherwise stellar machine.
