Very sharp knives - cut my fingers twice already (since I was used to applying a lot of pressure with my old, dull knives) and cut through my dish washing gloves. They're comfortable to hold and cut food really well. Overall, I am very pleased with these knives.

This is my first ever review of a product; I don't usually review but I was really impressed by this knife especially for the price.I got it for my new flat top grill because of the price and I didn't want to use my Wusthof knives on it. I was more than impressed with just how sharp this knife is and how well it holds an edge. I slit one of my fingers cubing an avocado in a half shell. I wasn't using any pressure and it cut right through the shell with no resistance. After that, I needed to ensure my fingers are nowhere near the blade. The knife is also well balanced.I have been using this knife for everything and my Wusthof has been sitting in the block.On top of functionality, it just looks cool.

I have a few higher-quality knives, including Wusthof and some Japanese-made VG10 knives. I wanted to try a more budget-friendly knife with good steel to see what the real difference was.This knife was sharper out of the box than any knife I've bought. It could shave hair very easily. Of course the initial edge is only one factor--we'll see how the the retention is, and whether it rusts or otherwise fails--but that first impression matters, and it was good.The knife is heavy for its size, but not overly so. The handle is comfortable and meets the tang perfectly, so the quality control seems good. Overall it feels well made. If it really is AUS10 and real damaacus, I believe it'll perform very well.I only received this knife today, so I may need to update this review as time goes on. Initial impression is that it's a good knife for a good price.

Beautiful, sharp, great handle that's easy to hold, and a perfect length for slicing, carving, or cutting larger fruit like cantaloupes or honeydew melons.
