Great product name and design
Super easy to use, no bad odor, looks nice on counter and works .. completely and thoroughly. No more fruit flies in my wine glass or near produce/compost bowl.

This works!
Our neighbor brought us some fruit from her church which was a lovely gesture. What we didn't realize was that fruit flies came with it. We had an awful time with them and even tried our own traps. It wasn't until we bought this and set it out that the fruit flies began to disappear. Within a few days, they've gone to their watery grave and I am grateful! This stuff worked like a charm and we still have a second bottle left in the event we ever get fruit flies again.

Does not work
I had such high hopes for this provider, but it doesn’t work at all. Right out of the package, the liquid didn’t meet the fill line on the container, so either the bottles of refill liquid aren’t filled properly or the containers are misprinted, but something is off. On day one, it caught one fruit fly. By day five, one fruit fly. And two weeks later, one fruit fly. I continued to chase and kill them because they were completely uninterested in this product. I guess it’s back to making the traps with fruit scraps and apple cider vinegar. They don’t look as good, but they work.

expensive and excess packaging
serum was watered down but it caught double the bugs than just a plain jar. the fruit flies like this trap. i use a mesh strainer to decant between two sets to rinse flies daily, and the serum lasts for a few weeks. if it dehydrated i just add water. it will smell like mildew after a month. you are wasting money on extra card card boxes that go in recycling. reduce packaging please.

This works where other formulas didn't for us
We had a really bad fruit fly problem for like a month. We tried the home remedies of apple cider vinegar with and without sugar, with the drop of dish soap, all with various effectiveness. This product saved our bacon. I know the formula is basically the same thing we created ourselves, but the cap with the lines to help them get in and get stuck before they can fly out seemed to do the trick.
