I like using glass for my salves and food products since it's less likely anything harmful will leach into my products. These jars arrived well packaged with only one out of 40 chipped so not bad at all. You get a jar, a metal lid ring set and a plastic lid and that counts as one set. You get 40 small jar sets in the case along with oval labels and a pen. I poured hot wax liquid into them with no problem.

These are wonderful, seals up just like ball jars!

I make jams and these are perfect for my sample size and gifts to hand out. Maybe 1 in 12 didn't seal good... I use those for dry microgreen powder storage

Three of the 40 jars did not seal. After trying many times no preserving lid could be tightened with the ring on these three jars. If buying these jars for canning check that lids will tighten before sterilizing, filling and processing. My helper tried also. The yellow caps fit fine.

If you want glass jars for show, these are just fine. However, not a single one sealed for us when making jam. We've made jam for over 10 years, and haven't had any trouble with Ball brand jam products. But we haven't been able to get a single one of these lids to seal properly for our jam.

These mini mason jars are, like most smaller versions of big things, cute. The diamond embossing texture of the jars also helps to make these attractive little things. They are good quality glass and would make great containers for gifts or selling of products where appearance matters.This pack comes with 2 kinds of lids, your standard mason jar lid and also a yellow plastic lid. This is a bit extraneous, as you can't combine the two lids, you just choose one. The plastic lids aren't the best quality so I'm not really sure why you'd even want to use them when the traditional metal mason jar lids work just fine.The 40 pack gives you a lot of little jars for storage or whatever else you'd like to use them for.

I got these jars and had hoped to use my vacuum mason jar sealer with them. Unfortunately, I didn't check the size compatibility before ordering, which was a mistake. These jars are tiny and way too small for my sealer. Despite that, they are high-quality jars with sturdy lids. I'm looking forward to canning a fruit spread in them using the traditional method.
