Works great. My next-door neighbors have 2 Rottweilers, that barks at their own shadows!! Very annoying!! With this unit, Just one click for the ultrasound key, and Thei stop barking!!

After I ordered this, I was hesitant to use it. I was not sure if it would cause stress to my dogs. I finally decided to test it out. I was careful to follow the instructions that were given with the device.I found that the dogs do respond to it. I am working on getting them to stop barking when I say "hush". I would use the device as I spoke the command. They would react and turn towards the direction of the sound (me). When they were not barking, I would praise them for being good dogs. You could definitely tell they noticed the sound, but they were not flinching. I would still say to use it judiciously and to not use it other than to briefly get the dog's attention.I will continue to use it until I no longer need it to get them to respond to my command.I would also add that the reason I got this, was that my sister got one for her dog and it worked in no time at all. When he starts to bark, all she does is show him the device and he stops. She doesn't even have to press the buttons.

Works sometimes to keep neighbor dogs quieter.

I used this to get my dog (who of no fault of his own has horrific recall) inside after trying to call him in multiple times. This often happens at night when we can't keep yelling, and other times when he's trying to hunt or eat a squirrel lolWe tried it today for the first time, called his name first and then when he didnt come in we clicked the button - and for the first time ever he spun his ass around so fast and came right inside!! 🤯We've had other ultrasonic devices in the past, but they would constantly go off and freak out the dogs. This one worked wonderfully since it was only 1 button = 1 noise, and was completely up to us how many annoying beeps it gave them.*Note: I accidentally hit the button while turning it on and checking it out, and triggered the noise accidentally (and freaked out my grandmas little dog in the process 😅) She was fine after a few minutes, but just be advised that some dogs will get anxious after hearing the noise. We were familiar with her sudden change of behavior since we've had an ultrasonic egg device before - so we just comforted her and waited for her to calm down.I would highly recommend this remote, it works great. Just be cautious and aware about how many times you set it off, when, and how your own dog reacts (and don't overdo it if it truly freaks them out)

I've got a neighbor that has an incredibly aggressive pitbull. So much that he literally tries to come through the fence at anyone in my yard. When I saw this device I thought maybe this would help me train him through the fence since he's clearly not getting any love or training from his house. I've tried it 6 different times now and I'm on the fence if it works or not. The first 3 times, it didn't seem to make any difference, but the last 3 times, it seems he took a barking break for a few seconds when I activated it. Could just be coincidence too but it feels like he might be thinking about his actions for just a brief moment. I don't know, but we'll keep trying. At least I have a little sense of protection to work in my own yard now.

We got this item because our adopted Labradoodle, Shadow, is aggressive towards other dogs while on walks. Shadow is extremely friendly to people, but tries to lunge at dogs he sees as a threat - and there's no telling which dogs are a threat. My husband started using the device to curb this behavior and it worked immediately. Shadow stopped posturing towards other dogs and looked at my husband long enough to go through a training ritual. By the time it is over, the other dog is gone they can continue their walk.I labeled this review "life saver" because on 3 occasions it stopped an attack from OTHER dogs in our neighborhood. The first time, a dog escaped its home and came running at Shadow. His intent may have been to play or investigate, but Shadow would not have seen it that way. My husband immediately pressed the button and the dog stopped long enough for its owner to retrieve it. On the 2nd and 3rd occasions, dogs were roaming off-leash in the park where my husband walks. These dogs were aggressive, but when my husband beeped them, they stopped and went away.I highly recommend this device for training and protection. It's one of the best tools we have!

This really does work. I was surprised that I could barely hear it, but my dogs perk up and really don't like the sound. We got this to stop some unwanted behavior of barking when people walk by our fence. So far, it has been working. You just have to stay consistent with it and make sure you don't use it when they are being good.

So far working good for training not to bark. Also for leash pulling.
