This hatchet is realist looking and was a good accessory for a Daniel Boone costume I made my grandson's for Christmas. It is also not dangerous to play with.

Looks real, feels sturdy, great for pretend play.

So realistic, perfect for our son’s Halloween costume!! So many compliments. And he still totes it around playing with it. One of his favorite toys. He’s only a year old if that helps anyone with the size.

Realistic in a simplistic way, but for the price its fantastic! I did a quick paintjob with mine because it didnt match my huntress/archer costume. The original base color for the handle worked out well with my darker color choice because it shows through here and there. The size fits on my belt perfectly and it doesnt weigh at all, not like regular sized wood axes or replicas.

Bought this for a 4 year olds fireman costume as he loves to "cut down trees" and help "put out fires". I was pleasantly surprise at how well this has held up. We've now had it for 6 months, and it has withstood a great deal of abuse from our little man. He plays with it in the woods, around the house, and any other time he has an excuse to carry around an ax. The material appears to be a thick plastic and it's just as it appears in the picture. I would definitely recommend!

Looks realistic and was the perfect size, only complaint is that there is writing on one side of the blade. We were using it as a topper on our 1 year olds birthday cake and the writing was visible, I just made sure to display it from one angle and only take pictures from one side.

Worked great for a prop for my lumberjack costume. Now my son uses it in his “workshop” to play with. Seems sturdy enough to last a while, hopefully.

Just as described, realistic looking, light-weight plastic, handle looks like real wood. Will be great prop for lumberjack themed birthday party to put into the log & stump shaped cakes! Arrived when promised. Happy customer.
