Unfortunately, this is not accurate
I really doubt that this was made in England. This is not accurate. Mine was 3 - 6 degree Fahrenheit off.

I was in search of a good, accurate and reasonably priced food thermometer and this one takes the price! Highly efficient for all things baking, meats, candy, oil and much more! It is water resistant, so cleaning it is a breeze!Highly recommended!
