Outstanding Value
This is an excellent chuck. It spins true with almost no detectable runout (better than my other name brand chuck!). The accuracy and the fact that it comes with the extra sets of jaws for about the same price as similar chucks that come with only one standard jaw set really makes this a great value. It also comes in a hard shell case that is foam lined, has an extra set of jaw screws, a T-handle for changing jaws, and the chuck key (also a 1" x 8TPI adapter if your lathe has that spindle size). Impressed with the overall quality and attention to detail...very pleased with this purchase.

Easy to use
Well made, works for a wide variety of projects

Not durable
I bought the full kit which was not cheap at $199 so I thought the quality would decent. After turning 6 bowls the chuck now will not hold the bowl, i constantly have to stop the lathe and tighten it. Very aggravating when you are trying to turn the tenon. Gave up and spent the money on a Vicmarc. It’s the old adage, you get what you pay for.
