This turned out to be a fun buy. My dogs enjoyed it but my two 9 week old pittie puppies LOVED it. This has been a great life saver for me, as it keeps my two puppies busy and entertained for about 10-15 minutes. Allows me to mop without worrying of them being under my feet. It’s lightweight, felt material, and pretty easy to store. One of the puppies wet on it, but it washed fantastic in the washer and dries great as well! So far it’s withstood being chewed and tugged, so money well spent!

I got this mat for my Aussie hoping it would give him a challenge and entertain him for a little bit, but turns out he's too cool for it. If you put food in it he will find it in a flash no matter how well you think you've buried it and then be absolutely done with it. The carrot that came with the mat he absolutely loved he took his time destroying it and even after he'd ripped it up I had to make it disappear while he slept. I'll hope he gets some more interest in it eventually but it is a great mat for a pup who would enjoy it.

Wanted a Snuffle Mat for a new puppy that would challenge her to "scent find" food hidden in the folds of the fabric. This mat is good - it has plenty of layers, but all the fabric are thick "felt" flaps. I guess I was expecting more fleecy type fabric that would hide the food better. That said, my puppy has enjoyed it and decided after about 40 minutes this morning to just pick it up and shake it - Ha!! My only other nit-issue are the strings used to cinch the mat closed when transporting it. They are fabric woven "light rope" and both ends of the rope that goes through the clip were frayed/untwisted. I ended up re-cutting them and because they are cotton, I was not able to heat seal them - so ended up having to superglue seal them so they won't fray again. Still - nice mat and does what it's supposed to do.

I have a 7 month old lab puppy and she absolutely loves this mat. When she is starting to be a bit destructive I have pulled out this mat and put her kibble and some other treats in there and let her go for it. It has calmed her down and has given her quite a bit of time to forage and seek out the treats. She has picked it up and tried to dump it, she moves it around the floor and tries to get treats to fall out and so far none of the fabric has come apart. I do not let her use it as a chew toy though...so I am not sure how well it would last if I did. I like that she gets excited when she sees it come out, it redirects her and gets to stop destroying her toys when she needs more stimulation. I am very impressed with this snuffle mat!**EDITED TO ADD**It has been a month now and this mat is still going strong. She hasn't pulled off any of the pieces off and she is very hard on her toys tearing them all up and leaving them in pieces. This mat has stood up to all of her puppiness and she still absolutely loves when I bring the mat out for meals. Now I don't encourage her to chew it...and I have left it down on the floor before and she has figured out it is not something to destroy...odd but she doesn't go at it like a toy and she will leave it alone after she has found all of the kibble and treats. It is so well made and I cannot speak higher of this product.

Our dogs are obsessed with snuffle mats and this one is no different! I'm not sure how long it will hold up to them but we're going to use it because they love it. It has felt flaps instead of loops and I can't get it to lay flat at all...it seems like it might be stitched too tight or something. It doesn't seem as sturdy as other snuffle mats we use but it does the job.

I ordered this for a rescue opossum to learn and practice foraging for food on her own while inside. It is very stiff fabric that I'm hoping will loosen up through use. Other than that, my girl seems to enjoy looking for dried worms in her little puzzle mat.

We'd tried different slow-feeding products but this works the best for our fast-eating dog. It's easy to distribute the food and the size is large enough that it takes her some time to find everything. This is definitely a preferable option to the slow-feeding bowls for us.

But my dog is obsessed!We were looking for something to keep my dog busy and not destructive while we work from home- this is a dream.It does collapse and unfold easily. There is a grippy mat pet in the bottom of the flower, no suction cups needed.Sniffing out and finding the food was my dog’s favorite part, she loved it the second she saw it. She is a 67lb Great Pyrenees mix, so I would say this is adequate for large dogs.Love that it is easy to collapse and take away. The stitching was burst a little in a spot when it arrived, straight out of the package, so I took off a star.
