good book
I have an Usborne History book from 1981, which is a big thick book and my 8 year old daugher had started looking through it, taking facts etc for school homework.I was looking for a more updated version and this is what I found. It's alot thinner than the one I have and doesn't cover as many topics, and as I had bought it to try and encourage my 8 year old to read more, felt the 2 pages that covered each era was not not really enough information. It does give you web lins to find out more which is good in some ways but feel a bit more info on the pages would have been better.Overall a great book, and there are others to buy

great books
My 6yr old daughter is like a sponge and wants to learn about everything. I got them for our holiday and she had her nose stuck in them the whole time. She can read them herself and is constantly saying "mummy did you know....." Very good books and would thoroughly recommend

A brief history tour
There was not as many pages as expected and more detailed would have been better. For example they could have put far more about Kings and Queens. My 5 year old nephew wanted more detail as he kept asking loads of questions.
