This is a limited edition item, in as far as I cannot find a Wooden, White, D-Shaped Toilet Seat anywhere!I was SO PLEASED to find this one! It’s certainly good quality, but despite stating that it’s adjustable and can fit all toilets, it doesn’t fit mine! It’s 4cm too short (and no amount of pulling or adjusting would make it so)!It may just be because I have a Comfort Height toilet, rather than a Standard Height one, but our other Comfort Height toilet accommodates a standard wooden toilet seat - so perhaps it’s because this is a less common D-Shape.I’m really disappointed. It would have been perfect.

I have just received and installed the product. It's very easy to install, buy the price is definitely way too high for the quality that comes with it. First of all, the lid is not straight (as shown in the picture) one side of the lid touches down, while the other one doesn't. Secondly, the pain job is not good at all, it's full of imperfections. Finally, the release mechanism is not great either, it doesn't work all the time and when I have removed the seat the second time a white plastic bit fell off from one of the holes. A more realistic price for this product would be around £25 rather than £50. I have given theee stars only because the seat doesn't seem to move around.UPDATE=======Since the Mrs liked the feel of this item I bought a second one, and it was a mistake.I didn't receive the item the first time around, apparently the courier lost it, but Amazon kindly sent a replacement (thanks Amazon). I have installed the replacement to find out (once I have opened the lid) that the paint job was chipped (visible in the picture), too late to change my mind as the fixings had already been glued to the toilet by then and my old toilet seat fixings could not be reused to reconnect the old seat. Amazon then sends me another replacement (thanks again, Amazon), and the paint job arrived chipped, again (again, visible in the picture). Finally both Amazon and I give up, and we go for a refund. Thankfully this item was covered by Amazon Prime when I bought it, otherwise it would have been even worse than it's been.I have reduced the number of stars to 1, as clearly this product either doesn't go through quality control or the vibrations from transport are enough for the pain job to fall off. Either way, not worth buying in my opinion.

I love this seat - firstly: it is comfortable. It feels like the wood it is but the paint job is really solid. The lid doesn't have a lip that digs in your back if you are having to spend long times in the loo. The single button mechanism provides real ease of removal to clean the seat and the loo - it is just brilliant, and would be particularly useful if you have a family member with Crohn's or IBS and the loo needs a lot of regular deep cleaning. It was hard work to get the non-slip seal to work - perhaps I'm too small and don't have the weight needed to push down hard enough to break the security studs on the seat mechanism - get in a heavy guy to do it for you. But once on, the seat has proven to be immovable as promised. VERY pleased with this, we used it to replace a hard uncomfortable plastic seat. This is comfortable and does exactly what it says; it doesn't move at all when even the heaviest use it, yet it removes with a simple push button for ease of cleaning.

It looks good and is comfortable to use. Easy to clean and the soft close mechanism is good. The price is good too - so what's not to like!

Arrived quickly and was easy to fit. It is much better that the prevous seat I purchased as it broke. this is strong and very elegant looking.

A well made seat which was simplicity to install. The surface appears to be very durable and is easy to clean. Very pleased.
