Not a 5G device as advertised
Misleading ad - they sell this as a 5G model with 5G service, but it’s a 4G device with a 4G SIM card. It will work in a 4G network but that’s not good enough to run a laptop, etc.

I think the product itself is good but the Verizon service is not much better than what I get on my cell phone. I definitely cannot work with this device. Two video calls and I used up my 5Gb. Had to upgrade my plan to finish a 3 day trip.

Just works
This is 100 times more reliable than the Orbic I got from Verizon.It just sits on the shelf and works. Setup was easy.

Battery stopped charging after 5 days! Connection speed not very good.
Got the Inseego M2100 5G on October 26, 2024. Today is October 31, 2024. My Verizon Cell phone signal on my phone shows all bars. Speed test on the M2100 down was 605 Kbps (Kbps) at max varied to 70 Kbps, speed test up was 1.2 Mbps. I was able to charge the battery once at the very beginning. Then the battery drained and I could not charge anymore. I used the same original charging cable and plug as provided. The symbol on the device confirms that the battery is charging but the percentage keeps dropping. Check for software update and was OK, reset the device several time but still not charging. No time to do any more checking because I have to work. I can't recommend this device! I suspect that Inseego saved money with a low quality battery.
