Good quality, but not for me
Vast very uncomfortable around my hips, I guess it's just my body structure. Great idea though.

Wish I had brought this earlier
I loved being able to carry my baby from 6 weeks old in her carrier but when she became too big for forward carry, I wanted to find a replacement.I tried a ring sling but my daughter hated it but still loved being carried on my hip. My arms would become so tired. I finally found the HippyChick Babyseat Carrier. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Something to help aid my tired arms but still give my daughter the freedom to get down or up whenever she wants. It’s so easy to use and light to carry. I’ve now also ordered the matching pouch. Today, we visited two shops and went for a walk in a country park. My arms were fine and by the time we were ready to go home, my 1 year old was asleep in the seat cuddled up to me. I highly recommend.

Great Seat but accessories were missing
I have used since they came out. But bought new one but disappointed that the accessories were missing. I could have bought just the seat much cheaper. And on Amazon it’s very difficult to see how to contact the supplier

Brilliant
This is a brilliant product so much easier than a carrier and saves your back - so worth the money I have had so many other mums asking where it was from

Six months in more pros than cons
We got this when my son (short boy but weighty) was nearly 2 and a half and he is now nearing three. I mostly carried him in a ring sling as a baby and then in a soft buckle carrier as a toddler so I wanted to find a way to still carry him but to let him have more time on his own feet. This seat is very good for this. I carry him over roads, up steep steps and when he is really tired. What makes a massive difference is if I am carrying a bag too. I have trained him to hold onto the straps on the bag with one arm going across my front and one arm round my back - like he is giving me hug really. So we go along having cuddles and being able to hear each other on noisy city streets. We have found we can go along under an umbrelka together. We can snoop over peoples garden walls ;) Great for planes, trains, buses, church services, in shops when he wants to pick EVERYTHING up, waiting in queues. Have even found we can strap it round a chair back and use it as a booster seat in a cafe - I am sure thats not recomended but it works great! He is now walking so much more that I have taken to clipping it onto my bag and only putting it on if we need to go fast or if he really demands it - so much better than an empty pushchair! On the cons side: is looking a tad knocked about after six months daily use, I get very hot under the belt, the Velcro try's to steal things so you have to Remember to do it up when you are it off, people stop you to ask you about it at the most in opportune moments. All in all it has been great for me. Do stick with it if you have tried it any wern't convinced as practice makes perfect.

Save your back
Dont know why I didn't pick this up with my 1st born. But it saves your back brilliant product the only downside I would say is they should of made the strap abit bigger like a gym belt to make it more comfortable to your back. I only say that because iam 6 ft and have a large back, however my wife find it very comfortable.

Best baby gadget I have ever bought.
Everyone knows that companies are lined up to take money off naive parents, keen to do their best for their precious offspring. I don't know any parent who has not bought a baby gadget, used it once and then left it gathering dust! This is different...I bought it for my fourth baby because I picked up a slipped disc during pregnancy and as he grew-and got heavier I was finding it harder to carry him. Hippy chick is perfect. It attaches simply and quickly with Velcro (which means it fits all shapes and sizes-I am size 14 and a long way from needing to buy the extension, and my eldest child who is a very slight teenager can also wear it no problem) and then a rucksack-style clip for security. It doesn't move when you wear it-despite being worn all day around the house as well as outside for walks. Also it cleverly distributes the weight of the baby all around the body so that the child has almost no weight (the longest period I have carried my baby for so far is 2 hours and he felt no different at the end, although your arm can get a bit tired from the cuddles!! It also keeps the spine aligned, so no back ache because you have been walking around sticking your hip out to balance your baby on. I have found this SO much better than the Baby Bjorn style carrier I had for the others, but in fairness this is aimed at babies who are aged from 6 months to 3years so it is aimed at older babies.
