The media could not be loaded. I am obsessed with these 30 inch tall planters. I wanted something to provide privacy on my patio as we live in a downtown first story condo in Nashville. I can finally sit on my porch without people seeing me. They now look at my plants instead of me.The package was delivered sooner than promised and very well packed with lots of Styrofoam protection. They are very heavy, so I don’t worry they will blow over.I expect them to last a lifetime because they are so very well made. There is a drainage hole and a shelf. I was expecting three separate sections and an adjustable shelf, but it’s OK that neither of those things happened. I am loving my newfound privacy.All of my dog walking neighbors have given me lots of compliments. They are a beautiful addition to my patio as well as the outside of the building. My future plants will probably be faux but for now I’ll try these flowering plants.If you’ve done a lot of research, you know you have to pay good money for good planters and these are worth it. Wish I had more!!

I was hoping that this would look good and it does. Easy to maneuver into place, sturdy and has a tray about mid into the cavity that can be removed or left in depending on your planting needs. Very pleased with the purchase. Tasteful appearance.

Stunning! And just the right size to enclose a space on my front patio. Nice and heavy, although the UPS guy managed to knock it over and it got scratched. Nevertheless, I love this planter and my flowers look gorgeous in it. Might have to bring it into the garage in the winter, not sure how it will hold up with our frigid Colorado winter temps.

Need a heavy, sturdy outdoor planter? Wallowa's welded metal rectangular plant is built like a wall. It sits at 2-feet tall, 10-inches thick, and 2.5 feet wide. And it's heavy. At first glance, you might think it's made of concrete.Visually the corners are seamless. The only apparent seams are where the tapered footer attaches to the bottom of the planter. I had to turn the planter upside down to find cracks between the metal plates of the tapered footer and the bottom of main planter box. From the inside, it appears that this seam has been followed up with silicon caulk. There is a small dent in the side of the footer, which is not noticeable from right-side up and does not cause any functional issues.There is a removable shelf on the interior that sits about one foot down. The opening measures 7.5 inch x 27.5 inch. Potted plants can sit inside on the shelf, but it might be tough to find pots at 7.5-in diameter and 12-in deep. If you use shorter pots, you'll need to find some kind of riser to bring the pots up higher. If you are concerned about this planter getting top-heavy and tipping over, again it's hefty without adding any plants to it and will likely stay put.If you decide to add plants directly inside, I would recommend non-woven fabric or coir liner to be laid down to keep soil in place. You can find rectangular liners sold for window box planters. The shelf is pre-drilled with drainage holes. The very bottom also has drainage holes with removable plugs.For me, I'll use 12-in tall grow bags which are constructed of non-woven fabric. While they are round, they can conform to any shape.I received the aqua blue planter which has a kitschy retro vibe. One of the product images describes the metal as galvanized steel which is resistant to rust, and has layers of acid treatment, texture, primer, and paint to add further protection. Even if it did begin to rust, the layer of steel is thick so you can take action in plenty of time to restore it before the metal decays and weakens.

The metal planter comes already assembled. It is super sturdy and takes two people to move the planter.(without dirt) I love it! Using it indoors in our sunroom. The metal planter looks fabulous.The planter is 30 inches tall and 2.5 feet long! The bright color adds a lot of beauty. Definitely place it where you want it-- because once you add the dirt-- it is almost impossible to move it.This planter is not going to tip over or be pulled over easily. So no worries about kids or small animals.It is so worth the money and highly recommended! I absolutely love mine!
