Mild 👏 Not that much purple deposit…
I’m a hairdresser and essentially this is a purple shampoo. It struggled to remove grease so it’s best to use your normal shampoo first if your hair is a few days in. (I did 3 shampoos with this before it cleaned my hair and I left the last shampoo on for a minute as I’m aware some purple shampoos grab on my hair) You can see my hair needed washing in my before photo) Then once your hair is clean use this and leave on for a minute or two. Usually I find purple shampoos drys my hair out and some leave the ends with a purple tinge but this didn’t. Everything about this shampoo seems very mild which on one hand is good for processed hair but on the other hand didn’t clarify the hair from dirt/grease and didn’t add much purple deposit. My hair looked cleaner but not necessarily that much blonder…This may have to be a process of using it twice a week for a few weeks to notice any effect… So for me it wasn’t an instant result. This would work better on pale yellow hair (level 9) but didn’t do much for the dark yellow/orange parts of my hair (level 8) It freshened up the level 9/10 parts. It’s not strong enough to be used as a toner for example but more for long term gentle use to keep your hair on the brighter side after you’ve had your hair coloured. Never use a purple shampoo if your hairdresser has applied a toner. Wait until that has faded first as all purple shampoos strip and neutralise toners. I’m happy it hasn’t dried my hair out and I prefer products to be low and slow to keep the integrity of the hair which is its biggest bonus…

Great shampoo
This is an amazing shampoo, it’s helped my hair to look fuller, it’s noticeably stronger and my blonde is looking amazing! The shampoo smells amazing and gives just the right amount of lather. It rinses out nicely too and doesn’t leave any residues like some other toning shampoos for blondes I have used in the past. I will be getting this again for sure!

good tone but a bit drying
The shampoo tones the hair nicely but you need at least a couple uses in a row to see more ashy tones if your base colour is a yellowish and not white blonde. It feels very hydrating while washing the hair, almost a lubricant type of slippery feeling, cleanses the hair very well and has a pleasant scent.Once the hair is dry, however, it does feel quite dry and I definitely need to follow up with a leave-in conditioner or hair oil, it's quite typical for purple shampoos to be on the drying side but this is not as bad as some others I have used.I usually leave the shampoo in for up to 5 minutes while doing other shower routines and follow up with their purple conditioner, the ashy tone will depend on how long it's left in and how frequently it's used as it does eventually wash out.

Good shampoo for blonde tones between salon trips
I've been having a bit of trouble with overly bleaching my hair and trying to grow it out and cut it back to get back to looking good again has been a nightmare with how thin my hair looks after a fair bit of breakage, so I really hoped this might help long term to make my hair look a bit nicer. It's very purple in the bottle and looks a bit intimidating, but it definitely doesn't turn your hair purple at all, just brightens up your blonde tones nicely. I was quite impressed considering the price and works as well in this regard as any other blonde clarifying shampoo I've tried in the past, some which were considerably pricier. As far as making your hair stronger I'm not so sure, but at least the ingredients don't look bad and should be beneficial. I'm going to have to come back and edit in a longer term review for the actual results, but for now I can say it brightened my blonde, made it feel nice and didn't leave any nasty texture or residue on my hair at all, and the purple pigment is quite laid back, so you can't ruin your hair and turn it into a blue rinse just by using this, no worries. It should extend the life of your toner too, so you might be able to squeeze an extra week or two out of your salon trips.
