Good sturdy-but-lightweight cane with easily adjustable height (remember to tighten the nut down good and snug so it doesn't make that irritating clicking noise on each contact with the ground!) at half the price of the very same cane in a medical supply store. I am rather a bit on the zaftig side and I feel very secure with this cane, it doesn't feel like it's going to bend out from under me even when I really lean on it hard, as some inexpensive lightweight canes feel like they will do. I chose the bronze color which is a black background with a blurry sort of mottled/swirled pattern in a caramel brown, somewhat reminiscent of a tortoiseshell pattern - really quite attractive in my opinion. I have several of these metal offset canes, everything from plain black to purple paisley, so I can suit the occasion and the outfit, but this is the one that lives in my car for all-purpose use. The handgrip is a bit firmer than I am used to but not so hard as to be really uncomfortable and definitely nicer than the hard plastic grips that aggravate the tendinitis in my wrists/thumbs; the grip is not replaceable. Also, the color does tend to wear/fade and nick at the front of the curved bit near the handgrip, since if you drop it and it doesn't fall sideways onto the handgrip it's going to land on that spot, but that's just the way it is with the offset canes. I still love that I can have the comfort of the offset cane design with snazzy colors and patterns instead of being stuck with an ugly, institutional-looking aluminum thing.

Everything I need in a cane…sturdy, easy to adjust, and very attractive.

I ordered this cane following back surgery. I knew I wouldn't need it for long, but really needed it in the short term. Thus I didn't want to spend too much. This cane was the same price as a utilitarian black one. The bronze color is really nice and looks very classy. It goes with everything and doesn't call attention to itself. A great buy!

The cane is working out perfectly for my Mom whose scheduled for knee surgery. However, the bronze cane was more expensive than other colors and subsequently have seen all 3 colors of this cane available in drug stores for same price and $2 cheaper than Amazon.(exclusive of shipping cost.)
