Russell Hobbs 24840 Light and Easy Bright Iron, 2400 W, Aqua

Bought this for my mother who suffers from arithritis in her hands. The iron is light enough to make ironing easy. It is alsoo easy to clean. The colour of the iron is none too shabby either. The depth between the handle and base is more that sufficient to ensure a steady grip. Good product andgreat value.

This iron is great, not at all heavy but has impressive steaming capacity. You can even steam clothes or curtains vertically. This is important to me as I am a keen sewer, and have just completed a fully lined woollen winter coat. I could not have finished it beautifully without the use of a good steam iron. Will buy again, anyday

Does what it says on the side of the iron….light & easy to use for someone with a painful shoulder problem! Just misses out on a 5* rating as no adjustable steam control.

I now have two of these irons as I wanted a second one for my sewing room. The sole plate has a good quality surface and I have no issues using it. It is easy to tell what temperature I have set and it is good value for money. I accidently marked the item as not received, but this was a mistake. The delivery company marked it as "handed to resident" which wasn't the case so I thought it had gone elsewhere but it turned up on my doorstep. Why they couldn't ring the doorbell to let me know I don't know!

Pleased with purchase. Having broken my wrist 6 months ago, my wrist is still weak and my old iron was heavy to use, this iron is perfect being light weight. Irons smoothly, gets all the crinkles out. steams well. Just wish it had the facility to steam on low setting as well. Having read the product spec. it does not steam on low settings.

I loved this iron as so light and easy to use, but it got really mucky and brown stuff came out of the iron, when I used the steam button, it kept leaving dark marks on clothes. I empty this iron after every use. It is about to go in the bin, as it is not suitable anymore, only a year old, expected a bit better, but I guess the price reflects this, so can't really complain.

I love my iron! The bright pink colour brightens my day, it is very light but very effective. Easy to fill and also to see how much water is in it. Irons very well, no drips, no fuss. Excellent!

Arrived on time, haven't used it yet, only came 3 hours ago, but looks a lovely iron, love the colour and seems very lightweight, not as big as what I am used to and the water chamber isn't as big either, will have to keep topping it up when ironing, but yes, I am pleased with my purchase.

this is the best iron box among i have used. there is no temperature control rheostat . how ever the the temperature level is optimum to use with steam. it gives enough heat to press the clothes and none of my clothes ever burned with this iron box. i recement.

Good price and quality

Bought this in September. Barely use it once or twice a week for a few items of clothes and now suddenly it’s stopped working.Not only that, starts leaving stains on black or white clothing. PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

Steam button not working properly

It’s as good as described, I don’t use much steam function and found this iron suitable for most of the situation and clothes.
