Aesthetic, functional and fun!
Product arrive earlier than planned in a well taken care of package.it is super functional and helpful (I do a lot of accounting at work) - that it doubles as a calculator is a total plus for me - and it also comes with built-in games! The screen is amazingly readable.it is very satisfying to use, and also very aesthetically pleasing for those who like vintage looks. On the plus side, if you don't like clicky switches, this numpad is hot-swappable, another bonus by the manufacturer. It definitely feels sturdy and seems to be - taking it at work everyday and not an issue in sight.Hits all the positives for me! I recommend!

A great add-on to a great keyboard
You can get the 8bitdo keyboard as a full-length board these days, so it really isn't required to buy this anymore. The reason I did anyways was for three reasons:1. This has a small, subtle magnet that helps it sit beside the main keyboard, and the two pieces sit pretty cleanly beside each other so there's not a noticeable difference.2. Because of this, you can have the comfort of a full keyboard with the added convenience of being able to relocate the numpad elsewhere if you'd like, which makes it more versatile for different purposes. It supports bluetooth and also comes with a USB dongle (with a built-in slot for it), so it's very convenient.3. I just think the little calculator screen is so cool.Buy the full keyboard version if you want to have a more normal keyboard experience. Buy this if you want to be able to type 80085 on your numpad and have it show up in little glowing LEDs. You know what to do.

Larger than expected and more awesome!
It's all that irt looks like and claims to be, all keys have an excellent quality and feel great using as do the dial and buttons at top. It's porbably the easiest bluetoth device to reconnect to my MSI PC Windows 11 maybe except for Sony WX1000 XM5 earbuds which are magically-possesed.My wife can use a number pad like she invented accounting and she loves this 8BitDo Retro both on the PC and it's cool use as a calculator. Fingers blur adding up the stuff I will be in trouble for buying so - not my best idea to show her probably. She has her own now.We have quite a few of the usual flat boring lifeless cheap number keypads in the junk drawer - put some fun in your day and add one of these to your PC!

Exceeded expectations by a lot 🤙🏽
The media could not be loaded. Build quality is nice, switches feel accurate and punchy. Top 3 buttons don’t feel amazing but shouldn’t need to use them super often. Screen is far better than expected. No bleeding or extra glow. Feels actually retro. Entire unit is lighter than expected , I wish it had a bit more weight to it, but honestly nitpicking because I can’t find much I don’t like. Bluetooth hooked up instantly to my iPhone for testing and worked with zero noticeable latency. The 2.4 hz dongle hides in the back magnetically so I almost thought they forgot it. Also works perfectly. I have yet to try the software to rebind keys but will update review when I do. Did not try wired mode because why would I, but the cable they sent with it feels wayyy more premium than I expected. My Toyota legit came with worse cables. Hotswapped a switch just to make sure I could. Easy peasy. Will likely buy 2 more for work and my wife, at this price the value is just plain better than Keychron which is what I really wanted.

Looks Great and works better
Love the looks and the Calculator option. Works great and looks good sitting on my Retro 50s Tanker Desk. Rubber pads on the bottom of the unit keeps it from sliding when your putting in the numbers. Keys match the old school keys on the retro keyboard. Great looking and works great.

A Great Tool for Typing, Though a Bit Pricey
I recently picked up the 8BitDo Number Pad for typing, and it’s quickly become a handy addition to my desk setup. If you're someone who needs a dedicated number pad for data entry or any other work that requires frequent use of numbers, this number pad is a great option.Performance:The number pad provides a smooth and responsive typing experience. The keys are tactile and satisfying to press, which helps increase my typing speed and accuracy. There's no lag or delay when typing, and the connection is seamless. I’ve used it for hours of number-heavy tasks like spreadsheets and financial tracking, and it’s been a real time-saver.Design & Comfort:The design is sleek and minimalist, with a compact build that doesn’t take up too much space on my desk. The keys are well-spaced, and the layout is intuitive. Even though I’ve been using it for several days now, it’s comfortable to type on for extended periods, and I haven’t experienced any discomfort.Compatibility:I was impressed with how easily the 8BitDo Number Pad synced with my computer. It works flawlessly with Windows, making it versatile for different systems and tasks. Whether I’m working with spreadsheets, entering data, or performing quick calculations, it has been a reliable tool.Battery Life:Battery life has been great so far. I haven’t had to recharge it constantly, and it lasts long enough for several days of use without issues. The battery seems efficient, and I haven’t noticed any significant drain during extended typing sessions.Price Caveat:The only downside to the 8BitDo Number Pad is the price. It’s a bit higher than other number pads on the market, which might make it less appealing for those on a budget. While the quality and performance are excellent, the price could be a barrier for some. Still, if you need a durable and efficient number pad for regular typing or data entry, it’s a worthwhile investment.Final Thoughts:Overall, the 8BitDo Number Pad is a great addition to any workspace. It’s reliable, comfortable, and efficient for typing tasks, especially those that require frequent number input. While it’s a bit on the pricey side, the performance and build quality make it a solid choice for anyone looking to enhance their productivity.
