Perfect for the job
These screws are exactly what I needed for connecting the outer trim boards to my 6x6 post for a deck I was building.

Strong fastener
Great product- strong and quick drive . Only consideration is that once driven in you only get one or 2 tries to unscrew and rescrew before torex head strips out . If you strip the head you have to either hammer it home or back it out with pliers. But otherwise a great fastener.

Strong drill recommended
Great screws that really hold things together. Just make sure not to use them on areas that have knots in the wood, they struggle. Also make sure you have a good strong drill for them if you want them to be flush with the wood. Other than that, would buy these again for any outdoor projects.

Great screws for outdoor building project!
Simpson Strong-Tie screws are the best! After using them and other brands, I found their screws to be the strongest, easiest to use (with provided impact wrench bit), and I keep bying them for vairous outdoor projects such as backyard retaining walls. Great product!

These are great screws
They will bring 2 boards together regardless of twists or warps. I buy in quantity so I pay about half my local store price.
