Brilliant, once the kittens worked out what it was!
I recently adopted two kittens, and I picked this up to see if it would encourage them to drink more water. In the box you get the fountain, a charger, and three additional filters. I found that assembly was simple enough, but it was a little bit tricky to work out which way around to fit the filter (I'm still not sure if I did it right!)It has a few different timers and settings you can use depending on how best your cats drink! I chose to have it motion activated, which initially meant the kittens thought it was some kind of game! They started out being a little scared of it, but within a few days they both knew exactly what it was, and were drinking properly. I do think it's increased their water intake, as they didn't seem as fond of the bowl I had started them off with.It doesn't need refilling super frequently, either. The resevoir holds a LOT of water, so I didn't have to refill it every 5 minutes like you would have to with a bowl. The charge is pretty good! I'd say it lasts about four or five days? Possibly a week? The battery indicator gives you a good warning as to when it will run out, and it will work if you have it plugged in, so you can keep it on while charging it.My only worry with this is availability of the filters - since they are such a specific shape. But you get two additional ones in the box, so that won't be a problem for a few months yet!Overall, I'd highly recommend!

Fresh filtered water for your feline friend
There was a reluctance to ordering this as our precious little feline princess is picky at the best of times, but she took to this without any trouble at all, and saves us having to keep emptying and filling the water bowl. It’s smaller in size than I expected but that isn’t such a bad thing as we don’t live in the largest of dwellings. It holds plenty of water to last just under a couple of weeks, and the excess remains contained until needed so keeps somewhat fresher for longer. The pump is barely noticeable when in operation which isn’t a feature too important for us as we keep this in the kitchen, but if you was to use this in a living room for instance, the regular viewing volume of a TV would easily drown out any noise this unit makes.Charging the unit seems to take an age, but the battery lasts a good while between charges. Powered by a USB-C interface and generic phone charger, this is easily achieved using a high capacity battery pack to save trailing wires or moving closer to a wall socket for charging, something I’m sure our fussy little furball would not be amused with. It’s a little on the pricy side at £60, but it does provide convenience for us. There are two filters included in the box and I haven’t yet looked for replacements, so hoping the maintenance costs aren’t too big given the initial investment price.

Excellent cat water fountain
This cat water fountain provides a simulated faucet flow and motion-activated water release, making it a smart hydration solution for your feline friend.I recently tried the cat water fountain for my two cats, hoping to encourage them to drink more water. The motion-activated feature is impressive; it releases water whenever my cats approach within 5 feet and at a 120-degree angle. They were fascinated by the simulated faucet flow, which mimics the running water they love so much. The 5000mAh battery is a game-changer. I don't have to worry about plugging it in constantly, and it lasts a good amount of time between charges. The fountain's 158 oz capacity is also a huge plus, as it holds enough water to last several days without refill. This is especially handy when I'm away for a weekend. What I particularly like is the fountain's sleek and modern design. It fits nicely in my kitchen without being an eyesore. The motion activation saves water and keeps it fresh, which my cats seem to prefer over stagnant water.Overall, the cat water fountain is a fantastic addition to our home, encouraging my cats to stay hydrated and providing me with peace of mind.

Your Pet May Not Like This
In the box you get the fountain ( needs some diy to setup ), three filters and instructions. Firstly this is quite easy to setup, just follow the comprehensive instructions. Fill with water ( you have a min and max level indicator on the side ), switch on and set it to the required function, sensor mode, anything moving past it will set the fountain off ( very sensitive ), continuous water flow and intermittent water flow ( the fountain comes on every 30 mins for 60 seconds. There is a charge indicator on the top which flashes green when charging, then stays solid green when fully charged. Now i have a cat and a dog, the dog isn't quite sure what to make of it, she has drunk from it but you can see she's a bit wary, up to now the cat has just given it a wide birth, hopefully she'll come around, if not i will have to revert back to her normal water bowl.

Extremely high quality and my cat loves it.
This is the best cat fountain I have tried and can be placed anywhere as it has a large rechargeable battery. It has a stainless steel feeding plate which is easy to clean. It hold lots of water too and keep the water fresh for my cat. She loves it. It has an IR sensor too which turns on when my cat approached it.

Cats love it
Got this for my two cats, and they absolutely love it. It's quiet, easy to separate and clean, and most importantly very easy for them to use. Water doesn't taste weird or anything after running through it - cannot recommend enough for your little ones.

Perfect in case of power outages
As a frequent traveler and owner of two cats, this wireless, battery-powered water fountain has been a game-changer for us! The 4.5L capacity and 5000 mAh built-in battery give me peace of mind, especially during power outages when I'm not home. I used to worry a lot with my previous fountain, which needed to be plugged in, and always had to leave a regular bowl of water just in case. Now, I know my cats always have access to water. The motion detector and super quiet operation are a bonus, as my husband hates the sound of running water all day long. The two filters keep the water clean, making it the perfect solution for our household!

It really works as well as described.
I like this fountain. The instructions were a little hard for me to figure out, but the fountain itself was designed in such a way, that there is only one way that things can fit together, so even if the written instructions are a little confusing, you aren't going to screw up the assembly. I'm glad they were explicit about how far apart you need to tear apart the pump mechanism, which is easy enough to do. I have other devices with water pumps and none of them disassemble to that degree, so I wouldn't have known to try. That being said, it does not appear that the pump is replaceable since the connection to the power does not detach. So I'll be sure to keep up with careful cleaning. The filters are of course proprietary and are going to be part of the ongoing expense with this unit. The battery does seem to hold a charge for a very long time and the reservoir is generous. I'm going to want to wash and clean the fountain most likely before the battery needs a recharge or before the water reservoir is empty. I have more and more devices that run on rechargeable batteries and rather than have a pile of awkwardly large devices hanging off my phone charging station, I'm just bringing a portable purse-sized battery over to the device itself to top off the charge when it's needed. But while i don't want the battery and pump hanging off my charging station, I will say that this is easily enough moved to different locations around the house, even when full of water. So if my cat is going to hang out on the porch for the afternoon, I can just take it out there. (I'd just like to say, that no where does this say that this is appropriate for outdoor use. The battery chamber should not get wet, and it's never good when rechargeable batteries are left in direct sunlight - I'm taking care to leave this where it can't get wet and can't get sun - and it's also a place where there are no outlets, which is what made me want this battery operated fountain to being with).Of my two cats, the one that will drink from the tub, sink or try to get overflow from watering plants took about 3 days to warm up to the fountain. My other cat, who is more timid and jumpy was immediately curious and went right up to it, but didn't drink. She is very small and may prefer the height of her existing bowl. I don't want to force the situation by removing her bowl, because she's 19, starting with kidney issues and doesn't need me lording over her water drinking preferences. As long as they drink, we're good. I'm more interested in appealing to the cat who is less interested in the bowl and more interested in the tub and sink and dirty puddles and other people's unattended drinks, because he's no spring chicken either and I don't want him deprived of water if the tub or puddles or plants are dry. He ignores an outdoor bowl. This fountain gets his attention and he seem happy to be using it, even though it took some time for him to warm up to it. So be patient with your cats. It might take time. This fountain is quiet, but it still makes a little noise and that's going to be something for the cats to negotiate. Heck it was something for me to negotiate, because unexpected running water sounds in a 125 year old house are never good. We leave it set on motion-detector mode now, but we left it off for the first day near their food bowls so it would be one less sensory issue for them to deal with.If we didn't have our tub-drinker, I don't think I'd want this much work. A water bowl is so much easier, but senior cats need extra care, so I'm happy to have it as insurance that he'll be willing to drink when he should.
