5 out of 8 drives were faulty!
Very poor. Ordered 8 for a project at work. 3 drives were faulty out of the box (read/write errors). 2 more drives failed within 24 hours of use. Never seen an SSD with such a high failure rate before!!

Bought 2 of these; one was working, the other was faulty
Faulty SSD. I purchased two of these; the first one was fine. The second one was faulty, unable to properly format data. I rarely write reviews, but this should be noted for future buyers.

Brand new drive on very light duty work. Formatted, installed and failed within 48 hours. Un recoverable, no MBR, no recognition by various PC's. Luckily this was a cloned drive and I only lost about a days work to it. Looking at other reviews the failure rate of these drives is pheneomenal - AVOID!!

This will speed up boot times
This does come with a software utility that helps you effectively mirror your existing disk over to the new disk. Using Windows 7 this worked fine. I've not tried it on linux yet. I don't even recall windows requiring any WPA re-authentication either or if it did, it must have been painless, as it worked flawlessly. The background service 'magician' software does complain about failing to find the drive once you've finished, but you can get rid of that by then.

Update: I've now replaced Linux with Windows 10 (Home) and it still works like a dream.
Bought this for an em350 netbook running Linux (currently Manjaro LXQT) which is only used for web surfing on Chrome. Well packaged, easily installed and the improvement is remarkable. So good, I've bought a slightly bigger one for my Acer Revo 3700 nettop which made an even greater improvement.

Cheap, easy to replace and faster than standard SATA.
These are so incredibly useful! I've even paired a USB->SATA adapter with one to have a 32GB thumbdrive that's actually very fast

Cheap and cheerful SSD, no problems :-)
It's a cheap SSD. It works. I've not done any speed tests or such like as I bought it to boot a linux-based appliance which has no particular need for speed. Can't comment yet on long-term reliability but no problems so far.
