Great for DIY’ers that mostly work alone
If you do a lot of repairs on cabinets, doors, or anything that would require another set of hands, this is for you!

This may be good for something, but "lifting" is not it.
Bought these to lift something. It was too heavy. These are only good for lifting things that weigh somewhat LESS then you can lift with your fingers alone.Maybe I'll find something else to use them for. Someday.

Not sure how I managed without these
These little mini jacks have been a life saver on my back. They are super easy to use and can lift about anything I have tried around the house for furniture, like a filing cabinet, frig, and dresser. The only issue is that when you release them to let the item down, they release full send and come crashing down. So make sure that your hands and feet are clear when you try to let whatever down as it might come down in a hurry.

Can Easily Lift A Couch
I gave one of these a quick try on a pretty heavy couch and it was lifting it up easily. The two of them could definitely hold up a door to install it or other tasks. Works well!

Works in Narrow Spaces but No Slow Release
The media could not be loaded. I've had this set of 2 arm Jack's (Moozies Brand) for a little over a month now. Initially, I struggled with how to write an honest and fair review because my first experience with them wasn't favorable. I used both lifters to raise up our heavy sofa so I could clean under it. The lifting mechanism was extremly easy to squeeze and I was pleasantly surprised. I noticed that on a hard floor surface it was essential to raise each in alternate fashion vs extending just one to desired height then doing the same to the other. The base of the first lifter started to tip and move out. When I alternated between the two and lifted to the desired height it worked pretty slick and with ease. However, please know that the release mechanism on these really doesn't allow for a smooth descent. One slight squeeze and BOOM it drops. After that episode, I played with it a bit more so I could better work with the release mechanism. I then tried it on a large outdoor planter to tip it up and drain out some of the water in the base tray. I only used one lifter, but again one slight tap/ squeeze on the release and BOOM it came down. Next, I tried it on my prized freeze dryer to help elevate the front up just a little so the water could drain out the back drain. I wised up this time and inserted a rubber pad under each base so neither lifter would slide or tilt and a thick styrofoam piece underneath the edge of my freeze dryer to help cushion the decent. That certainly helped and I felt like I won the jackpot! I know for certain, I'll be using these lifters frequently now for that purpose. I also have some woodworking projects coming up and I can already see how versatile these lifters will become. There's no graduated measuring scale on these but you can always make some markings on it yourself. These lifters will help lift and hold projects up and keep them steady if you need to do any fastening or assembly. They certainly will come in handy if you're a DIY kind of person and need that extra set of hands to lift or hold. So given the low cost of these, their strength (listed at 440# when using both & lifting at the same time,) they work great in narrow or tight spaces, and they don't take up a lot of room I'm satisfied. There was a learning curve so I'm glad I waited to write my review and not base it off my first experience. Just remember, no slow release. They're simple but hey, they do work! No more shoulder/ back strain for those little projects where you need a little extra muscle! That's a win!

No frills lifter
I have reviewed about four sets of these lifters, all have their pros and cons. This particular lifter set by MOOZIES is a very basic, no frills version. At an approximate 4"x3" footprint, it has the 2nd most stable base of all reviewed; however, it has the tallest, stoutest vertical shaft of all; I would like to have seen the base at least a 4"x4" footprint to match that bigger vertical shaft. It does not have removable upper jaws, and lacks a graduated scale.I like this product as it is simply a work horse, but that makes it only about average, falling in line with similar lifter sets.

easy to use
My husband and I have moved all over the country, most of the time we didn't have helpers and so now we both have a lot of low back pain. This has made me super careful about even two person lifts when my husband and I move furniture around. But these lifters are really cool. We used them to lift our sectional sofa, it helped us separate the pieces like we had a couple more people to help pick up a side of the sofa so that we could put our new rug down underneath it.I don't think they can do anything super miraculous, but they are a real help for us. We also used it to lift a bookshelf up so that my husband could fix a broken leg on the back. But it isn't just for furniture, I am going to use it on the dryer to replace the air vent hose.Just a caution, I don't know if it is a great idea to use this on your own. I just picture something awful happening if I tried to do this alone, but it is terrific for me and my husband.

Proceed with caution when lowering your object with these!
These mini jacks seem to work really well with lifting heavy objects. However, there is no way to slowly release/set down your item without them just crashing down. I wish there was a way to slowly lower these to the ground, because I could see someone breaking their items or hurting themselves (or someone else) pretty badly. I really worry about it falling on a young child. Because of this, and me having a 3-year-old that likes to “help” me, I am giving this 2/5 stars. Just provide caution when using these!!
