Fantastic quality of knife. Comes in nice packaging. Not necessarily a knife you need in the kitchen, but if you are a knife fan and love a collection of knifes, it's a great one to add to your collection.

Nice thick and sturdy, not extremely sharp but it surely does the job. Quite a nice feeling in hand.

I got this to add to my growing collection of kitchen knives as I hadn't quite seen one like this before.The knife comes in a nice presentation box so would also make a great gift.I was drawn to this as it's handmade using the old fashioned way of forging the blade. It looks amazing in person and is really weighty to use. This is fine for my big hands, but for smaller hands it might get a bit heavy after prologued use.The knife looks beautiful and I've really enjoyed using it so far. It's made short work of what ever I've cut with it.There are just two slight issues. One is that the blade could be a bit sharper and the second is that the one I received has a small nick out of the blade which is a shame. I'm sure in time and with a lot sharpening this will come out, but it's a shame nonetheless on such a unique knife.

This knife is excellent quality and perfectly made, the knife is a good weight with a comfortable handle and it is very sharp. It arrived in a nice presentation box, it has a storage pouch, if needed. I find it very comfortable and easy to use, I've used it on all kinds of meat and veg, including the dreaded turnip that I hate preparing, and it has cut through everything in its path with such ease. Very pleased with this brilliant knife, it is great value for money.

As I went to put it away inside the sheaf, it wasn’t quite flat and I ended up slicing the leather as I pushed it in! 😂It’s wonderfully sharp and you’re definitely going to want to keep it in the leather sheaf to prevent an accident.It’s heavy, but comfortable to hold and slices, dices and chops with ease. We’ve successfully used it on a joint of meat, and chopped some fruit and veg. I actually feel like I could chop a small tree down with it!Hand forged and made from high carbon steel. The sharpened edge runs the full length of the blade.It doesn’t say whether it can go in a dishwasher, but I would always advise handwashing an item such as this.Good knife. Would recommend.

This is a beautiful knife that would be great for heavy cutting tasks in the kitchen, or camping and bushcraft.The knife is constructed from solid, 5mm thick slab of high carbon steel, which gives it a lot of strength and a hefty weight. The high carbon steel is self coloured, but will need to be kept dry when stored and maybe a smear of cutting board oil to coat the blade to stop it rusting. It seems to be nice and hard and takes an edge very well.Although its heavy, the blade comes to a very fine point and appears to be sharpened at around 25 degrees, which makes it great for finer kitchen tasks like cutting veg. The balance is really good and it feels great in the hand. The blade is slightly curved which allows you to rock the blade for fine chopping.It has a full tang and the steel makes up the profile shape of the handle. This gives the knife a lot of strength and again lends itself to heavy duty tasks. There is no sharp or rough edges to the steel between the wood scales that you sometimes get if the wood shrinks a bit. It feels very smooth. The wood appears to be either a dense tropical wood, or it has been treated with resin to make it stable and water resistant. The wood scales are attached to the knife via three big stainless steel rivets.The knife comes with a very high quality, real leather sheath. It looks awesome and the thick leather keeps the blade and yourself safe when storing it. Its fully stitches on the edge and made from heavy duty 2.5mm thick leather. It has a belt loop and a big press stud to close it. A really nice addition and it suits the knife so well.Overall I am over the moon with this knife. Its a joy to use and looks and performs amazingly well. I'd definitely recommend this.
