Easy to install. I struggled to figure out what size to get for a youth bicycle. This kick stand fit JUST right on a girls Nishiki mountain bike with 20” tires (kids age range of roughly 7-11 years old). If the bike were any smaller the kick stand would be too long. Seems sturdy so far.

The kickstand was a perfect fit on our 20" mountain bike that came with a mounting hole for a kickstand but didn't include one inside the box. Two hex wrenches are provided in the box for the installation and getting it set up was easy and simple.The metal pieces look quite durable and heavy-duty enough to support our ~25 lb. bike.5 stars.

We bought our 6 year old an expensive mountain bike, and only realized afterwards that it didn't have a kickstand, so after researching all of the options on Amazon we decided on this one. It was incredibly easy to install, and does go up and down smoothly, but at it's shortest length it's just the tiniest bit too long for a 20" bike. I works fine as long as we turn the tire a certain way so that it leans more into the kickstand, but the bike still topples easily. Overall it's a great product though.

When it's extended there's about an inch of play in and out. Makes the bike really wobbly when it's on the stand. The metal is also really thin and to tighten the mount onto the bike you have to go so tight that you'll worry about breaking it. Get something else!

This is a great kickstand. I added this to my REI co-op bike and it works really well! Happy with the durability and I love the rubber foot that keeps our wood floors from getting scratched while we're storing the bikes.

It doesn't down enough and is thus too tall for a kid's Diamondback 20" bike. Otherwise, the quality seemed fine and it looked good. It would probably be just fine on most 22" bikes and maybe a 20" that wasn't so low to the ground. Even though the return period passed, they are going to let me return it anyway, which is great and shows they care.

Bought one for my 11 year old's mountain bike and installed using the short bolt method. Took about two minutes to install. Very easy mechanism to raise and lower the kickstand. Liked it enough to purchase another for my wife's bike, which I installed using the long bolt and included bracket piece. Again, easy to install.One thing to note, both kickstands came with a bright red sticker that is not shown in the product photos (where the oval indentation is). Doesn't really match either of the bike's color schemes, but they didn't care, so we just left it on. You might be able to remove as it seems to be a sticker, but ymmv.

Bought this for my son’s 20” bike. It’s not easy to find kickstands for this size & this works beautifully. The angle on the footplate wasn’t flat because of the way it had to go on his bike, but it’s still sturdy on paved surfaces and grass.
