Control, lightweight, futuristic.
I’ve been after this for a number of years but, the price was ridiculously steep at nearly £200.00. When it dropped to around £116.00 I couldn’t resist. So, why did I want it and, having used it what do I think. Most electric screwdrivers torque settings are too strong, which can lead to damaging the material the screw is going into, such as a plastic electric socket. The settings on this can be set so low that there is no danger of damage.Having said that, the 4Nm is enough to drill holes, such as a pilot hole, without having to reach for a full-size drill. The gyroscopic control is easily handled and quickly learnt and the speed of bit rotation easily managed. The unit is very lightweight compared to other screwdrivers-drills and can be carried in a belt holster or even a pocket easily (even though it doesn’t have a belt clip, which I think is a good thing not to have). The Dewalt gyroscopic screwdriver came with 2 batteries and charger and a strong plastic case, which I don’t use, it takes up too much room in the tool bag/case. The photos are a little misleading as I didn’t receive the EU adapter, but as I had a number already it was no big deal. It works in a UK socket as long as the adapter is utilised.Very please I have this excellent screwdriver, and shall be using it as an electrician.I also have a NoCry electric screwdriver, which at half the price is excellent, but for different reasons. The speed is, like the Dewalt variable, but the torque is higher at both it lowest and highest settings. However, at very much less that half of the Dewalt may be a better bet for many DIYers. It is also slightly heavier than the Dewalt. The Dewalt is a brilliant piece of kit and with the two batteries it should mean that it shouldn’t run out of juice. Excellent product that feels like something an astronaut could be equipped with.

Great bit of kit
Having owned this using it over the last couple of weeks it’s a great bit of kit. It has a nice bit of torque also. It feels nice and premium in the hand and the batteries have a good length of usage in them before required to charge.

I love this driver an used as it should be it ...
I have had this for some time now and I have used it countless times.Yes the twist to get it to drive or retract screws is odd at first but when you get used to it then it becomes second nature (easy). As a compact driver it has more power then the Bosch tools it has now replaced and has enabled so many projects to be completed I would be lost without it.Okay it came with a European plug but I had an adaptor already lying around so no big issue and it fits in the case.I have used it so much I have bought additional batteries to keep jobs going.Of course it isn't as strong as my 18v DeWalt or Hitachi drivers.. but they cannot get in the space this can or with the minimal size. When changing all the under cabinet lighting in the kitchen this was what I reached for to get small screws in narrow spaces in which I need to sight everything.I love this driver an used as it should be it is a perfect tool for the job... driving in 120mm screws into construction timbers use an impact driver. In a narrow space repairing damage to the meter covers done by the National Grid with 40mm screws then this is perfect.

Brilliant piece of kit
I love this. Its so easy to use and control speed. Yes a bit expensive but incredibly worth it. The led lights are brilliant when screws are in dark areas. Wish I'd discovered this years ago.

Charger doesn’t work
Unfortunately the charger doesn’t work, screw driver works perfectly, could not get in touch with the seller to arrange a replacement charger.

Not a UK model
The plug was European so I had to change it. Is it legal to sell such an item in UK?
