Really Blocks Sound
This is so much better than ear plugs that fall out or are painful to keep in. I find them comfortable. And they really block sound for me. Their design and engineering is unique.

It fell apart before my son could put it on!
These headphones might or might not work for noise cancellation/mitigation -- my son never got to try them out. They fell apart before he could get them on his head! Back they went to Amazon! Don't bother.

They work for me!
not sure why so many have had trouble with these, I have half dozen battery rigs and shoot clays every week, I use these about half the time and they work fine for me, not quite as well as several, but cancel report enough so I'm satisfied, have 3 of these scattered in my shooting/range bags including the one I use Snow Goose hunting, for the money, can't see a down side, for me....your milage may vary.....

Do not block noise.
I’m not sure why these are well rated. They do not block noise and they do not fit in ears. The tips are made from a hard and uncomfortable foam like material. They are very cheaply made.

Best hearing protection, but fragile design.
This is the best hearing protection I’ve ever had and I’ve been a carpenter/cabinet maker for 30 years. The (non-electronic) noise cancellation really works incredibly well. My big beef with this otherwise great product is that the attachment points where the metal head-band attaches to the plastic side pieces are somewhat fragile. If you take the hearing protection on or off too quickly or the heating protection gets caught on something one the hinges can easily break. I know because I go through a coupe of pairs of these every year.

I purchased this item for my son with Down syndrome ...
I purchased this item for my son with Down syndrome who is sensitive to noises. I wanted to get him something that was smaller than the headphones he currently wears, something a bit mire discreet. If you are looking for something that cancels out noises, this doesn't do that . What I find it does do is lower the noise level enough that my son can participate in activities that have loud high pitched sounds. The plastic it's made from is cheep and the product it's self is flimsy.
