I love this.
This bird feeder is so fun. I love how the camera is angled. You get some funny looks from birds while they are eating. I like that you can add the hummingbird nectar as well as a piece of fruit. The panel keeps the camera charged. It takes great pictures. I would recommend it.

Fun and easy
I have a similar feeder that is designed specifically for hummingbirds. This was as easy to set up as the hummer model and now I have two apps pinging me to alert me to the arrival of birds. It's very fun. It wasn't hard to set up. It doesn't require a subscription - unless you want to use the bird ID feature, but there are free options for that if you do a little research to upload a photo to one of them - which you can do since you get a photo file using this app. I usually don't feel the birds in summer as much as winter because we live in the country on acreage and there are plenty of natural, wild resources of food for the wild birds in summer. So, I'm excited to see what I see in the cold months when the birds really need more food to survive. My WiFi modem in just inside my office and I have this hung about 20 feet outside with no signal issues. I recommend.

Solar Panel Not Working; Poor Sound Quality
I was really excited for this feeder, as I love watching the birds in my yard. I got it all charged, downloaded the app, and set it up outside, hooked up to the solar panel it came with. I strapped it to a tree trunk-the provided straps are of good quality, and the clips are metal so they won't snap or get brittle in the elements. Within a few minutes, I had birds on the feeder and it started recording. The video quality was good; however, the sound quality was very poor. It was really fuzzy and staticky and I couldn't really hear the birds over that. The battery only lasted 2-1/2 days, even hooked up to the solar panel on clear, sunny days. So, while it works as a bird feeder, it's not great if you actually want to be able to record your birds, unless you want to take it down every other day to charge. Maybe I got a fluke solar panel that doesn't work, but as it is, I can't say I recommend this feeder.

Good idea and works okay but...
The feeder is easy to put together, easy to fill and super cute. The drawbacks are that camera and transmitter are heavy at the back and the hook being centered on the top causes the feeder to tilt back. The birds probably don't care but it does allow rain to fall into the tray and run backwards and pool at the base of the food storage area. This would be best placed under an eaves or covered porch. With that said though, the solar panel does need to be in direct sun to work. There doesn't seem to be a storage battery so if it's a cloudy day, you may only be able to hear some audio but there may not be enough power to see a video or for the camera to record. The app is easy to use. The picture quality is good. It's just that in my area the birds are most active early in the morning yet the sun isn't up and strong enough yet to power the solar panel so you don't get many opportunities for videos.

Died after 2 weeks - DO NOT BUY!
So I was enjoying this feeder, but the camera died after 2 weeks. We had a couple days of heavy clouds and the solar charger couldn't maintain the battery. I saw it was low, disconnected the camera and plugged it in to recharge, but now it won't come back on line. I get a blue light in the back when I plug a usb cable in, signifying full charge, but that's it. Tried the power button, tried the reset button. No responses. Camera appears DOA.There are no instructions included on how to assemble the feeder itself, but didn't take long to figure it out. It was a little tough getting the camera in place, because it fits in a tight area. The instructions do cover installing the app and getting the camera connected.I pole mounted this and it's working well, although I'm knocking one star off because I feel the feeder could use a better support system, or at least a wider support base and a better design for opening the lid. Only time will tell if the base provided is adequate, but I don't think it is. The lid is basically a plastic lip fitting over another plastic extrusion. It's tight now, but will wear out or crack in a couple months.Other than that, a great feeder. I'm enjoying watching the birds come in and chew on the seed.

Better than expected
I was skeptical at first of this product when I couldn’t find the power button and the instruction manual not giving me any hints as to where the button could be. (It’s behind a little rubber thing on the back of the camera itself)But, once I set it up and let it do its thing, we had birds landing on it and eating from it right away.Additionally, i set it up at the far corner of my yard, which is like 45 feet away from the WiFi router and it had no trouble connecting.I was also highly skeptical of the included solar panel unit, and at first i thought that there’s no way it would supply enough power and thought I was right when the camera lost power after a day of use.But then i realized that the cable wasn’t plugged all the way in (due to the rubber seal being very resistant) I removed the rubber seal, plugged the panel in, and to my surprise, even during indirect sunlight, there was enough power to get the camera working again.I did fill up the included hummingbird feeder with some hummingbird juice, but haven’t seen any of those yet.The main thing to watch out for is the subscription for the bird identification service. But the camera streams without needing the subscription at least.Overall, i recommend you give it a try.

So much fun to watch
This bird feeder with the included camera is a great addition to my garden. I have a few of these birdhouses, and I just love getting notifications that birds are there, so I can open the app and see them and have them identified for me. It sets up easily and it's pretty easy to connect it to the internet, since I have a WiFi booster just inside the house. The birds don't even notice the camera, so they're content to come eat while I watch them. It would make a great gift as well.

So much fun
I never thought a camera on a bird feeder would be this much fun. We have all the neighborhood birds visiting and they all have crazy personalities. The app is easy to use, although the air is weak and seldom gets birds name correct. Solar charger keeps it powered. I couldn't recommend these enough. Thank you.
